Abu Rimtha said:I came to God’s Messenger with my father, and on his asking who this was along with him, he replied, “He is my son; be witness to the fact.” He said, “He will not bring evil on you, nor will you bring evil on him.”* Abu Dawud and Nasa’i transmitted it. * This is explained as meaning that neither will be punished for the wrong done by the other. InSharh as-sunnathere is an addition at the beginning. He said: I went in with my father to see God’s Messenger, and when my father saw what was on God's Messenger’s back he said, “Let me treat what is on your back, for I am a physician.” He replied, “You are the helper, but God is the Physician.”* *i.e. you act in a gentle manner giving help and advice, but only God can cure.

ابورِمثہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں اپنے والد کے ساتھ رسول اللہ ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ تمہارے ساتھ یہ کون ہے ؟‘‘ انہوں نے عرض کیا : میرا بیٹا ہے ۔ آپ اس کے متعلق گواہ رہیے ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ آگاہ رہو ! نہ تو تیرے گناہ کا اس سے مؤاخذہ ہو گا نہ اس کے گناہ کا تجھ سے مؤاخذہ ہو گا ۔‘‘\n اور شرح السنہ میں اس حدیث کے شروع میں مزید الفاظ ہیں : انہوں نے بیان کیا : میں اپنے والد کے ساتھ رسول اللہ ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو میرے والد نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کی پشت پر جو چیز (مہر نبوت) تھی وہ دیکھ لی تو عرض کیا مجھے اجازت دیں ، میں اس چیز کا علاج کرتا ہوں جو آپ کی پشت پر ہے کیونکہ میں طبیب ہوں ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ تم رفیق ہو اور اللہ طبیب ہے ۔‘‘ صحیح ، رواہ ابوداؤد و النسائی و البغوی فی شرح السنہ ۔\n
AbuRomaisa bayan karte hain, main apne wald ke sath Rasool Allah ki khidmat mein hazir hua to aap ne farmaya: Tumhare sath yeh kaun hai? Unhon ne arz kiya: Mera beta hai. Aap iske mutalliq gawah rahiye, aap ne farmaya: Aagah raho! Na to tere gunah ka is se mo'akhizah ho ga na iske gunah ka tujh se mo'akhizah ho ga. Aur Sharahus Sunnah mein is hadees ke shuru mein mazeed alfaz hain: Unhon ne bayan kiya: Main apne wald ke sath Rasool Allah ki khidmat mein hazir hua to mere wald ne Rasool Allah ki pusht par jo cheez (Mohr-e-Nabuwwat) thi woh dekh li to arz kiya mujhe ijazat dein, main is cheez ka ilaaj karta hun jo aap ki pusht par hai kyunki main tabib hun, aap ne farmaya: Tum rafiq ho aur Allah tabib hai. Sahih, Riwayat Abu Dawood wa al-Nasa'i wa al-Baghawi fi Sharh al-Sunnah.
وَعَن أبي رِمْثَةَ قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَعَ أبي فقالَ: «مَنْ هَذَا الَّذِي مَعَكَ؟» قَالَ: ابْنِي أَشْهَدُ بِهِ قَالَ: «أَمَا إِنَّهُ لَا يَجْنِي عَلَيْكَ وَلَا تَجْنِي عَلَيْهِ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ وَزَادَ فِي «شَرْحِ السُّنَّةِ» فِي أَوَّلِهِ قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ مَعَ أَبِي عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَأَى أَبِي الَّذِي بِظَهْرِ رَسُول الله صلى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسلم فَقَالَ: دَعْنِي أُعَالِجُ الَّذِي بِظَهْرِكِ فَإِنِّي طَبِيبٌ. فَقَالَ: «أَنْتَ رفيقٌ واللَّهُ الطبيبُ»
