‘A’isha said:When my vindication came down (Al-Qur’an, 24:11 ff) the Prophet mounted the pulpit and mentioned that. Then when he came down from the pulpit he ordered that the two men and the woman* should be given the prescribed beating. Abu Dawud transmitted it. *The men are said to have been Mistah b. Uthatha and Hassan b. Thabit, and the woman Hamna daughter of Jahsh. Ibn 'Abd al-Barr,Istiab. p. 285, says Mistah was beaten, but he does not commit himself on p. 127 about Hassan, or on p. 714 about Hamna.

عائشہ ؓ بیان کرتی ہیں ، جب میری براءت کے بارے میں آیات نازل ہوئیں تو نبی ﷺ منبر پر کھڑے ہوئے تو اس کو ذکر فرمایا ، جب آپ منبر سے اترے تو آپ ﷺ نے دو مردوں اور ایک عورت کے بارے میں حکم فرمایا تو ان پر حد قائم کی گئی ۔ اسنادہ حسن ، رواہ ابوداؤد ۔
Ayesha bayan karti hain, jab meri barah ke bare mein ayat nazil हुईं to Nabi mimbar par khare hue to is ko zikar farmaya, jab aap mimbar se utre to aap ne do mardon aur ek aurat ke bare mein hukum farmaya to un par had qaim ki gayi. Isnadah hasan, رواہ abudaud.
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: لَمَّا نَزَلَ عُذْرِي قَامَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ فَلَمَّا نَزَلَ مِنَ الْمِنْبَرِ أَمَرَ بِالرَّجُلَيْنِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ فَضُرِبُوا حَدَّهُمْ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ
