‘Abdallah b. Unais reported God’s Messenger as saying, “Among the most serious of major sins are attributing a partner to God, unfilial behaviour, and deliberate perjury. If anyone swears an oath which he is compelled to take (or a firm oath) and introduces into it as much falsehood as a gnat’s wing, a spot will be put in his heart till the day of resurrection.” Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying this is agharibtradition.

عبداللہ بن اُنیس ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اللہ کے ساتھ شرک کرنا ، والدین کی نافرمانی کرنا اور جھوٹی قسم کھانا کبیرہ گناہوں میں سے ہے ۔ اور جس شخص نے اللہ کی پختہ قسم اٹھائی اور اس میں مچھر کے پر کے برابر (جھوٹ) داخل کر دیا تو روزِ قیامت تک اس کے دل میں ایک نکتہ لگا دیا جاتا ہے ۔‘‘ ترمذی ۔ اور انہوں نے کہا : یہ حدیث غریب ہے ۔ اسنادہ حسن ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Abdallah bin Unais riwayat karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: ''Allah ke sath shirk karna, waldain ki nafarmani karna aur jhooti qasam khana kabira gunahon mein se hai. Aur jis shakhs ne Allah ki pakki qasam uthai aur usme machchar ke par ke barabar (jhoot) dakhil kar diya to roz-e-qiyamat tak uske dil mein ek nukta laga diya jata hai.'' Tirmidhi. Aur unhon ne kaha: Yah hadees ghareeb hai. Isnaadahu hasan, riwayat al-Tirmidhi.
وَعَن عبدِ اللَّهِ بنِ أُنَيْسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ مِنْ أَكْبَرِ الْكَبَائِرِ الشِّرْكَ بِاللَّهِ وَعُقُوقَ الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالْيَمِينَ الْغَمُوسَ وَمَا حَلَفَ حَالِفٌ بِاللَّهِ يَمِينَ صَبْرٍ فَأَدْخَلَ فِيهَا مِثْلَ جَنَاحِ بَعُوضَةٍ إِلَّا جُعِلَتْ نُكْتَةً فِي قَلْبِهِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيب
