Al-Bara’ b. ‘Azib said the Prophet made agreement with the polytheists on the day of al-Hudaibiya regarding three matters:that he should return to the polytheists anyone who came to him from them, but they should not return any of the Muslims who came to them; that he should enter Mecca the following year and stay in it three days; and that he should enter it only with such weapons as swords and bows in cases. Then Abu Jandal came hobbling in his fetters and he sent him back to them. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

براء بن عازب ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، نبی ﷺ نے حدیبیہ کے روز مشرکین سے تین شرائط پر صلح کی ، مشرکین میں سے جو شخص آپ کے پاس آئے گا اسے واپس کیا جائے گا ، اور مسلمانوں کی طرف سے جو اُن کے پاس آئے گا تو اسے واپس نہیں کیا جائے گا اور وہ اگلے سال مکہ آئیں گے اور تین دن قیام کریں گے ، اور وہ اپنا اسلحہ تلوار ، کمان وغیرہ چھپا کر (نیام میں بند کر کے) لائیں گے ۔ اتنے میں ابوجندل ؓ اپنی بیڑیوں میں جھکڑے ہوئے آئے تو آپ ﷺ نے انہیں واپس کر دیا ۔ متفق علیہ ۔
Bara bin Aazib bayan karte hain, Nabi ne Hudaibiya ke roz mushrikeen se teen sharait par sulah ki, mushrikeen mein se jo shakhs aap ke paas aayega usey wapas kiya jayega, aur Musalmanon ki taraf se jo un ke paas aayega to usey wapas nahi kiya jayega aur wo agle saal Makkah aayenge aur teen din qayam karenge, aur wo apna aslaha talwar, kaman waghera chhupa kar (niyam mein band kar ke) layenge. Itne mein Abu Jandal apni beriyon mein jhakde hue aaye to aap ne unhen wapas kar diya. Muttafiq Alaih.
وَعَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ: صَالَحَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ عَلَى ثَلَاثَةِ أَشْيَاءَ: عَلَى أَنَّ مَنْ أَتَاهُ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ رَدَّهُ إِلَيْهِمْ وَمَنْ أَتَاهُمْ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ لَمْ يَرُدُّوهُ وَعَلَى أَنْ يَدْخُلَهَا مِنْ قَابِلٍ وَيُقِيمَ بِهَا ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَلَا يَدْخُلَهَا إِلَّا بِجُلُبَّانِ السِّلَاحِ وَالسَّيْفِ وَالْقَوْسِ وَنَحْوِهِ فَجَاءَ أَبُو جَنْدَلٍ يَحْجِلُ فِي قُيُودِهِ فَرده إِلَيْهِم
