‘Amr b. Umayya told that he saw the Prophet cutting slices from a shoulder of mutton in his hand. He was summoned to prayer, and after throwing it and the knife with which he was slicing it away, he stood up and prayed without performing ablution. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

عمرو بن امیہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی ﷺ کو دیکھا کہ بکری کی دستی آپ کے ہاتھ میں ہے اور آپ اس سے کاٹ کر تناول فرما رہے ہیں ۔ اتنے میں آپ کو نماز کے لیے آواز دی گئی تو آپ نے اس (دستی) کو اور اس چھری کو جس کے ساتھ آپ کاٹ رہے تھے رکھ دیا ، پھر کھڑے ہوئے اور نماز پڑھی ، اور آپ ﷺ نے (نیا) وضو نہیں فرمایا ۔ متفق علیہ ۔
Amr bin Umme RA se riwayat hai ki unhon ne Nabi SAW ko dekha ki bakri ki dasti aap ke hath mein hai aur aap us se kaat kar tanaul farma rahe hain. Itne mein aap ko namaz ke liye aawaz di gai to aap ne us (dasti) ko aur us churi ko jis ke sath aap kaat rahe the rakh diya, phir khare hue aur namaz parhi, aur aap SAW ne (naya) wuzu nahin farmaya. Mutaffiq Alaih.
وَعَن عَمْرو بنِ أُميَّةَ أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يحتزمن كتف الشَّاة فِي يَدِهِ فَدُعِيَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَأَلْقَاهَا وَالسِّكِّينَ الَّتِي يَحْتَزُّ بِهَا ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يتَوَضَّأ
