بيان التحنيط وغيرها من الأشياء

‘Ikrima told that when he saw Ibn ‘Abbas putting on a lower garment, letting the hem in front fall on the top of his foot and raising it behind, he asked why he did it that way and he replied that that was how he had seen God’s messenger do it. Abu Dawud transmitted it.

عکرمہ بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں نے ابن عباس ؓ کو دیکھا کہ وہ تہبند باندھتے تو اگلی جانب سے تہبند کا کنارہ اپنے پاؤں کی پشت پر رکھتے اور پچھلی جانب سے اسے اٹھا کر رکھتے تھے ، میں نے کہا : آپ اس طرح کیوں تہبند باندھتے ہیں ؟ انہوں نے فرمایا : میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو اسی طرح تہبند باندھتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے ۔ اسنادہ صحیح ، رواہ ابوداؤد ۔
Akarma bayan karte hain, mainne Ibn Abbas ko dekha ki woh tehband bandhte to agli janib se tehband ka kinara apne paon ki pusht par rakhte aur pichli janib se use utha kar rakhte the, mainne kaha: Aap is tarah kyon tehband bandhte hain? Unhon ne farmaya: Mainne Rasul Allah ko isi tarah tehband bandhte huye dekha hai. Isnaad sahih, riwayat Abu Dawood.
وَعَن عِكْرِمَة قَالَ: رأيتُ ابنَ عَبَّاس يَأْتَزِرُ فَيَضَعُ حَاشِيَةَ إِزَارِهِ مِنْ مُقَدَّمِهِ عَلَى ظَهْرِ قَدَمِهِ وَيَرْفَعُ مِنْ مُؤَخَّرِهِ قُلْتُ لِمَ تَأْتَزِرُ هَذِهِ الْإِزْرَةَ؟ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يأتزرها. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
