arfan p930 ‘Abdallah b. Mas'ud said :God has cursed the women who tattoo and the women who have themselves tattooed, the women who pluck hairs from their faces and who make spaces between their teeth for beauty, changing what God has created. When a woman came and told him she had heard he had cursed such and such he asked why he should not curse those whom God’s messenger had cursed and those who were mentioned in God’s Book. She told him she had read it from cover to cover and had not found in it what he had been saying, to which he replied that if she had read it she would have found it, and asked her whether she had not read, “What the apostle has brought you accept, and what he has forbidden you refrain from.” (Qur’an, 59, 7). On her replying that she had, he said he had forbidden what he had been talking about. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

عبداللہ بن مسعود ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، اللہ تعالیٰ نے بدن گودنے والیوں اور بدن گدوانے والیوں پر ، (چہرے اور پلکوں وغیرہ کے) بال نوچنے والیوں اور حسن کی خاطر دانتوں کو باریک و تیز کرنے والیوں پر ، اللہ کی تخلیق کو بدلنے والیوں پر لعنت فرمائی ۔ ابن مسعود ؓ کے پاس ایک عورت آئی تو اس نے کہا : مجھے پتہ چلا ہے کہ آپ نے ایسی ایسی عورتوں پر لعنت کی ہے ؟ انہوں نے فرمایا : مجھے کیا ہے کہ جس پر رسول اللہ ﷺ نے لعنت کی ہو اور میں اس پر لعنت نہ کروں ؟ جبکہ وہ اللہ کی کتاب میں ہے ۔ اس عورت نے کہا : میں نے پورا قرآن پڑھا ہے لیکن جو آپ کہتے ہیں ، میں نے وہ بات اس میں نہیں پائی ۔ انہوں نے فرمایا : اگر تم نے اسے پڑھا ہوتا تو تم یہ بات اس میں پا لیتی ، کیا تم نے یہ نہیں پڑھا :’’ اللہ کے رسول جو تمہیں دیں اسے لے لو اور جس سے تمہیں منع کریں اس سے رک جاؤ ۔‘‘ اس نے کہا : کیوں نہیں ، میں نے اسے پڑھا ہے ۔ انہوں نے فرمایا : تو آپ ﷺ نے اس سے منع فرمایا ہے ۔ متفق علیہ ۔
Abdullah bin Masood bayan karte hain, Allah taala ne badan godne walion aur badan gudwane walion par, chehre aur palkon waghaira ke baal nochne walion aur husn ki khatir danton ko bareek o tez karne walion par, Allah ki takhleeq ko badalne walion par lanat farmai. Ibn Masood ke paas ek aurat aai to usne kaha: mujhe pata chala hai ki aap ne aisi aisi auraton par lanat ki hai? Unhon ne farmaya: mujhe kya hai ki jis par Rasul Allah ne lanat ki ho aur main us par lanat na karoon? Jabke wo Allah ki kitab mein hai. Is aurat ne kaha: main ne poora Quran parha hai lekin jo aap kahte hain, main ne wo baat us mein nahin paai. Unhon ne farmaya: agar tum ne use parha hota to tum ye baat us mein pa leti, kya tum ne ye nahin parha: ''Allah ke Rasul jo tumhen den use le lo aur jis se tumhen mana karen us se ruk jao.'' Is ne kaha: kyon nahin, main ne use parha hai. Unhon ne farmaya: to aap ne us se mana farmaya hai. Mutaffiq alaih.
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: لَعَنَ اللَّهُ الْوَاشِمَاتِ وَالْمُسْتَوْشِمَاتِ وَالْمُتَنَمِّصَاتِ وَالْمُتَفَلِّجَاتِ لِلْحُسْنِ الْمُغَيِّرَاتِ خَلْقَ اللَّهِ فَجَاءَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ فَقَالَتْ: إِنَّهُ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّكَ لَعَنْتَ كَيْتَ وَكَيْتَ فَقَالَ: مَا لِي لَا أَلْعَنُ مَنْ لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَنْ هُوَ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ فَقَالَتْ: لَقَدْ قَرَأْتُ مَا بَيْنَ اللَّوْحَيْنِ فَمَا وجدت فِيهِ مَا نقُول قَالَ: لَئِنْ كُنْتِ قَرَأْتِيهِ لَقَدْ وَجَدْتِيهِ أَمَا قَرَأت: (مَا آتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانْتَهُوا)\؟ قَالَت: بلَى قَالَ: فإِنه قد نهى عَنهُ\
