‘Abdallah b. ‘Umar told that he heard God’s messenger say:“If I drink an antidote, or tie on an amulet, or compose poetry, I am the type who does not care what he does.”* Abu Dawud transmitted it. * Meaning that one who does any such thing is an abandoned character.

عبداللہ بن عمر ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا :’’ میں کچھ فرق نہیں سمجھتا کہ میں تریاق پیوں یا تعویذ لٹکاؤں یا اپنی طرف سے شعر کہوں ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ ابوداؤد ۔
Abdullah bin Umar RA bayan karte hain, main ne Rasul Allah SAW ko farmate huye suna: ''Main kuch farq nahi samajhta ke main triaq piyun ya taweez latkaun ya apni taraf se sher kahoon.'' Isnaad e zaeef, riwayat Abu Dawood.
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَا أُبَالِي مَا أَتَيْتُ إِنْ أَنَا شَرِبْتُ تِرْيَاقًا أَوْ تَعَلَّقْتُ تَمِيمَةً أَوْ قُلْتُ الشِّعْرَ مِنْ قِبَلِ نَفْسِي» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
