Mishkat al-Masabih 4611
Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying:"He who sees me in a dream will see me when awake*, for the devil, does not take my likeness.” (Bukhari and Muslim.) * This tradition has Caused some difficulty. It is suggested that if it refers to people in the Prophet’s time who have not yet emigrated to Medina, it means that they will emigrate and see the Prophet there; if it refers to people of later times, it means that they will see him in the next world.

ابوہریرہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جس نے مجھے خواب میں دیکھا تو وہ مجھے عنقریب حالت بیداری میں بھی دیکھے گا اور شیطان میری صورت اختیار نہیں کر سکتا ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Abu Hurairah bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: ''Jis ne mujhe khwab mein dekha to woh mujhe anqareeb halat bedari mein bhi dekhe ga aur shaitan meri surat ikhtiyar nahin kar sakta.'' Muttafiq alaih.
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسلم: «من رَآنِي فِي الْمَنَام فيسراني فِي الْيَقَظَةِ وَلَا يَتَمَثَّلُ الشَّيْطَانُ بِي»
