Abu Musa reported the Prophet as saying:“I saw in a dream that I was emigrating from Mecca to a land containing palm-trees and I conjectured that it was to al-Yamama or to Hajar, but it was the city of Yathrib.* In this vision of mine I saw that I brandished a sword and the front part of it was cut off; this represented those believers who were smitten at the battle of Uhud. I brandished it again and it was restored to perfect condition; and this represented the victory and the community of believers which God brought about.”** (Bukhari and Muslim.) * The old name of Medina. ** Probably a reference to the Conquest of Mecca and the numbers who accepted Islam. ابوموسی ؓ ، نبی ﷺ سے روایت کرتے ہیں ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ میں نے خواب میں دیکھا کہ میں مکہ سے کھجوروں کی سرزمین کی طرف ہجرت کر رہا ہوں ، میرا خیال تھا کہ وہ یمامہ ہے یا ہجر ہے ، لیکن وہ (سر زمین) مدینہ ہے جس کا نام یثرب تھا ، اور میں نے اپنے اسی خواب میں دیکھا کہ میں نے اپنی تلوار ہلائی تو اس کا وسط ٹوٹ گیا ، اس سے مراد وہ ہے جو مومنوں کو غزوۂ احد میں تکلیف اٹھانا پڑی ، پھر میں نے دوبارہ اسے ہلایا تو وہ اپنی پہلی حالت سے بھی بہتر ہو گئی ، اس سے مراد وہ ہے جو اللہ تعالیٰ نے (مکہ کی) فتح عطا فرمائی اور مومنوں کو اکٹھا کر دیا ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Abu Musa RA, Nabi SAW se riwayat karte hain, Aap SAW ne farmaya: “Maine khwab mein dekha ki main Makkah se khajuron ki sarzameen ki taraf hijrat kar raha hun, mera khayal tha ki woh Yamama hai ya Hajar hai, lekin woh (sar zameen) Madina hai jiska naam Yathrib tha, aur maine apne isi khwab mein dekha ki maine apni talwar hilai to uska wast tut gaya, is se murad woh hai jo mominon ko Ghazwa-e-Uhud mein takleef uthana pari, phir maine dobara use hilaya to woh apni pehli halat se bhi behtar ho gai, is se murad woh hai jo Allah Taala ne (Makkah ki) fatah ata farmaai aur mominon ko ektha kar diya.” Muttafiq Alaih.
وَعَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أُهَاجِرُ مِنْ مَكَّةَ إِلَى أَرْضٍ بِهَا نَخْلٌ فَذَهَبَ وَهْلِي إِلَى أَنَّهَا الْيَمَامَةُ أَوْ هَجَرُ فَإِذَا هِيَ الْمَدِينَةُ يَثْرِبُ وَرَأَيْتُ فِي رُؤْيَايَ هَذِهِ: أَنِّي هَزَزْتُ سَيْفًا فَانْقَطَعَ صَدْرُهُ فَإِذَا هُوَ مَا أُصِيبَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ ثُمَّ هَزَزْتُهُ أُخْرَى فعادَ أحسنَ مَا كانَ فإِذا هوَ جَاءَ اللَّهُ بِهِ مِنَ الْفَتْحِ وَاجْتِمَاعِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
