Description of gentleness, modesty, and good character
بيان اللين والحياء وحسن الخلق
Mishkat al-Masabih 5078
A man from the tribe of Muzaynah narrated that the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked: “O Messenger of Allah, what is the best thing that has been bestowed upon man?” He ﷺ replied: “Good character.” Sahih, narrated by al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab al-Iman.

مزینہ قبیلے کے آدمی سے روایت ہے ، انہوں نے کہا : صحابہ ؓ نے عرض کیا : اللہ کے رسول ! انسان کو جو عطا کیا گیا ہے اس میں سب سے بہتر چیز کونسی ہے ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ حسن خلق ۔‘‘ صحیح ، رواہ البیھقی فی شعب الایمان ۔
Mazina qabeele ke aadmi se riwayat hai, unhon ne kaha: Sahaba (RA) ne arz kiya: Allah ke Rasool! Insaan ko jo ata kiya gaya hai us mein sab se behtar cheez konsi hai? Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: ''Husn-e-khulq.'' Sahih, Riwayat al-Bayhaqi fi Shu'ab al-Iman.
وَعَنْ رَجُلٍ\مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ قَالَ: قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا خَيْرُ مَا أُعْطِيَ الْإِنْسَانُ؟ قَالَ: «الْخُلُقُ الْحَسَنُ» رَوَاهُ الْبَيْهَقِيُّ فِي «شُعَبِ الْإِيمَان»\
