Mishkat al-Masabih 5389
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The Hour (Last Day) will not begin until knowledge is taken away, earthquakes occur frequently, time passes quickly, tribulations appear, murders increase, and money will overflow among you." They asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what is 'harj'?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "Killing." (Agreed upon)

ابوہریرہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ زمانہ (قیامت کے) قریب ہوتا جائے گا ، علم ختم کر دیا جائے گا ، فتنے ظاہر ہوں گے ، (دلوں میں) بخل ڈال دیا جائے گا اور ہرج زیادہ ہو جائے گا ۔‘‘ انہوں نے عرض کیا ، ہرج کیا ہے ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ قتل ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Abu Hurairah bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: Zamanah qareeb hota jayega, ilm khatam kar diya jayega, fitnay zahir honge, buxl daal diya jayega aur harj ziyada ho jayega. Unhon ne arz kiya, harj kya hai? Aap ne farmaya: Qatl. Muttafiq Alaih.
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَتَقَارَبُ الزَّمَانُ وَيُقْبَضُ الْعِلَمُ وَتَظْهَرُ الْفِتَنُ وَيُلْقَى الشُّحُّ وَيَكْثُرُ الْهَرْجُ» قَالُوا: وَمَا الْهَرْجُ؟ قَالَ: «الْقَتْلُ» . مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ
