بيان المناقب
Mishkat al-Masabih 6214
It is narrated on the authority of 'A'idh b. 'Amr that Abu Sufyan passed by Salman, Suhayb and Bilal (and some other Companions of the Messenger of Allah, may peace be upon him, were also present there) and they said: The swords of Allah have not taken due share of vengeance from the enemy of Allah. Abu Bakr said: Do you say this about the most respectable and chief man of Quraysh? Abu Bakr (then) came to the Prophet (may peace be upon him) and mentioned that to him whereupon he said: Abu Bakr, perhaps thou hast annoyed them. If thou hast annoyed them, thou hast annoyed thy Lord. He ('Abu Bakr) went back to them and said: Brethren, have I annoyed you? They said: No, may God forgive you, brother. (Sahih Muslim)

عائذ بن عمرو سے روایت ہے کہ ابوسفیان سلمان ، صہیب اور بلال ؓ کے پاس سے گزرے اس وقت اور صحابہ کرام بھی موجود تھے ، انہوں نے کہا : اللہ کی تلواروں نے اللہ کے دشمن کی گردن سے اپنا حق وصول نہیں کیا ۔ ابوبکر ؓ نے فرمایا : کیا تم ایسی بات قریش کے معتبر اور سردار شخص کے بارے میں کہتے ہو ؟ ابوبکر ؓ نبی ﷺ کے پاس آئے اور انہیں بتایا تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ ابوبکر ! شاید کہ تم نے انہیں ناراض کر دیا ہے ، اگر تم نے انہیں ناراض کیا تو تم نے اپنے رب کو ناراض کر دیا ۔‘‘ وہ ان کے پاس آئے اور کہا : بھائیو ! کیا میں نے تمہیں ناراض کر دیا ہے ؟ انہوں نے کہا : نہیں ، بھائی ! اللہ آپ کی مغفرت فرمائے ۔ رواہ مسلم ۔
Aaiz bin Amr se riwayat hai ki Abusufiyan Salman, Suhaib aur Bilal ke paas se guzre us waqt aur sahaba kiram bhi mojood thay, unhon ne kaha: Allah ki talwaron ne Allah ke dushman ki gardan se apna haq wasool nahi kiya. Abubakar ne farmaya: kya tum aisi baat Quresh ke motabar aur sardar shakhs ke baare mein kehte ho? Abubakar Nabi ke paas aaye aur unhen bataya to aap ne farmaya: ''Abubakar! shayad ki tumne unhen naraz kar diya hai, agar tumne unhen naraz kiya to tumne apne Rab ko naraz kar diya.'' Wo unke paas aaye aur kaha: bhaiyon! kya maine tumhen naraz kar diya hai? Unhon ne kaha: nahi, bhai! Allah aap ki magfirat farmaye. Rawah Muslim.
وَعَن\عَائِذ بن عَمْرو أَن أَبَا سُفْيَان أَتَى عَلَى سَلْمَانَ وَصُهَيْبٍ وَبِلَالٍ فِي نَفَرٍ فَقَالُوا: مَا أَخَذَتْ سُيُوفُ اللَّهِ مِنْ عُنُقِ عَدُوِّ اللَّهِ مَأْخَذَهَا. فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: أَتَقُولُونَ هَذَا لِشَيْخِ قُرَيْشٍ وَسَيِّدِهِمْ؟ فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَهُ فَقَالَ: يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ لَعَلَّكَ أَغْضَبْتَهُمْ لَئِنْ كُنْتَ أَغْضَبْتَهُمْ لَقَدْ أَغْضَبْتَ رَبَّكَ فَأَتَاهُمْ فَقَالَ: يَا إِخْوَتَاهْ أَغْضَبْتُكُمْ قَالُوا: لَا يَغْفِرُ اللَّهُ لَكَ يَا أَخِي. رَوَاهُ مُسلم\
