Mishkat al-Masabih 6232
Khaithama ibn Abi Sabra reported: I came to Madinah and I asked Allah to grant me the companionship of a righteous person. So He made me the companion of Abu Huraira. I sat with him and said: I asked Allah to grant me the companionship of a righteous person, and He has given me yours. He said: "Where are you from?" I said: "From Kufa, and I came seeking good." He said: "Do you not have among you the one whose prayers are answered, Sa'd ibn Malik? And the one who performed ablution for the purification of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and carried his sandals, Ibn Mas'ud? And the confidant of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, Hudhayfah? And 'Ammar, whom Allah protected from Satan by the tongue of His Prophet? And the possessor of the two Books, believing in the Gospel and the Quran, Salman?" **The chain of narration is weak. - Narrated by al-Tirmidhi.**

خیثمہ بن ابی سبرہ بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں مدینہ آیا تو میں نے اللہ سے درخواست کی وہ کسی صالح شخص کی ہم نشینی اختیار کرنے کی توفیق بخشے ، چنانچہ اس نے میرے لیے ابوہریرہ ؓ کی ہم نشینی میسر فرما دی ، میں ان کے پاس بیٹھ گیا ، میں نے کہا : میں نے اللہ سے دعا کی تھی کہ وہ مجھے کسی صالح شخص کی ہم نشینی میسر فرمائے ، مجھے تمہاری ہم نشینی نصیب ہوئی ہے ۔ انہوں نے فرمایا : تم کہاں سے (آئے) ہو ؟ میں نے کہا کوفہ سے اور میں خیر کی طلب و تلاش میں آیا ہوں ۔ انہوں نے فرمایا : کیا تم میں مستجاب الدعوات سعد بن مالک ؓ نہیں ہیں ؟ اور رسول اللہ ﷺ کی طہارت کے لیے وضو کا انتظام کرنے والے اور آپ کے جوتے اٹھانے والے ابن مسعود ؓ نہیں ہیں ؟ رسول اللہ ﷺ کے راز دان حذیفہ ؓ اور عمار ؓ جنہیں اللہ نے اپنے نبی ﷺ کی زبان پر شیطان سے پناہ دی ہے ، اور صاحب کتابین یعنی انجیل و قرآن پر ایمان رکھنے والے سلمان نہیں ہیں ؟ سندہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Khisma bin Abi Sabra bayan karte hain, main Madina aaya to main ne Allah se darkhwast ki woh kisi saleh shakhs ki hum nishini ikhtiyar karne ki taufeeq bakhshe, chunancha usne mere liye Abu Huraira (RA) ki hum nishini muyassar farma di, main unke paas baith gaya, main ne kaha: Main ne Allah se dua ki thi keh woh mujhe kisi saleh shakhs ki hum nishini muyassar farmaye, mujhe tumhari hum nishini naseeb hui hai. Unhon ne farmaya: Tum kahan se (aaye) ho? Main ne kaha Kufa se aur main khair ki talab o talash main aaya hun. Unhon ne farmaya: Kya tum main mustajab الدعوات Saad bin Malik (RA) nahin hain? Aur Rasool Allah (SAW) ki tahaarat ke liye wazu ka intezam karne wale aur aap ke joote uthane wale Ibn Masood (RA) nahin hain? Rasool Allah (SAW) ke razdan Hudhaifa (RA) aur Ammar (RA) jinhin Allah ne apne Nabi (SAW) ki zaban par shaitan se panah di hai, aur sahib kitabein yani Injeel o Quran par iman rakhne wale Salman nahin hain? وَعَنْ\خَيْثَمَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سَبْرَةَ قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ فَسَأَلْتُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُيَسِّرَ لِي جَلِيسًا صَالِحًا فَيَسَّرَ لِي أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ فَجَلَسْتُ إِلَيْهِ فَقُلْتُ: إِنِّي سَأَلْتُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُيَسِّرَ لِي جَلِيسًا صَالِحًا فَوُفِّقْتَ لِي فَقَالَ: مِنْ أَيْنَ أَنْتَ؟ قُلْتُ: مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ جِئْتُ أَلْتَمِسُ الْخَيْرَ وَأَطْلُبُهُ. فَقَالَ: أَلَيْسَ فِيكُمْ سَعْدُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ مُجَابُ الدَّعْوَةِ؟ وَابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ صَاحِبُ طَهُورِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَعْلَيْهِ؟ وَحُذَيْفَةُ صَاحِبُ سِرِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ وَعَمَّارٌ الَّذِي أَجَارَهُ اللَّهُ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ وَسَلْمَانُ صَاحِبُ الْكِتَابَيْنِ؟ يَعْنِي الْإِنْجِيلَ وَالْقُرْآنَ. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ\
