Mishkat al-Masabih 6243
Aisha narrated that the Prophet saw a lamp lit in Zubair's house, so he said: 'Aisha! I think Asma has given birth. Don't name the child; I will name it myself.' He named the child Abdullah and gave him a date with his own hand. The chain of narration is weak. Narrated by Tirmidhi.

عائشہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے زبیر ؓ کے گھر میں چراغ جلتا ہوا دیکھا تو فرمایا :’’ عائشہ ! میرا خیال ہے کہ اسماء کے ہاں ولادت ہوئی ہے ، تم اس بچے کا نام نہ رکھنا ، اس کا نام میں خود رکھوں گا ۔‘‘ آپ ﷺ نے اس (بچے) کا نام عبداللہ رکھا اور اپنے ہاتھ سے کھجور کے ساتھ اسے گھٹی دی ۔ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Ayesha se riwayat hai keh Nabi ne Zubair ke ghar mein chiragh jalta hua dekha to farmaya: Ayesha mera khayal hai keh Asma ke haan wiladat hui hai, tum is bache ka naam na rakhna, iska naam mein khud rakhunga. Aap ne is bache ka naam Abdullah rakha aur apne haath se khajoor ke saath ise ghutti di. Isnad zaeef, Rawah Tirmizi.
وَعَنْ\عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى فِي بَيْتِ الزُّبَيْرِ مِصْبَاحًا فَقَالَ: «يَا عَائِشَة ماأرى أَسْمَاءَ إِلَّا قَدْ نُفِسَتْ وَلَا تُسَمُّوهُ حَتَّى أُسَمِّيَهُ» فَسَمَّاهُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ وَحَنَّكَهُ بِتَمْرَةٍ بِيَدِهِ. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ\
