‘Ata’al-Khurasani quoted al-Mughira as stating that God’s Messenger said, “Theimamshould not pray in the same place as he occupied previously in prayer, but should change his position.” Abu Dawud transmitted it, but said that ‘Ata’ al-Khurasani was not alive in al-Mughira’s lifetime.

عطاء خراسانی ؒ مغیرہ ؓ سے روایت کرتے ہیں ، انہوں نے کہا ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ امام اس جگہ جہاں اس نے (فرض) نماز پڑھی ہے ، (نفل) نماز نہ پڑھے حتیٰ کہ جگہ بدل لے ۔‘‘ ابوداؤد ، اور انہوں نے فرمایا : عطا خراسانی کی مغیرہ ؓ سے ملاقات ثابت نہیں ۔ ضعیف ۔
Ata Khurasani RA Mughirah RA se riwayat karte hain, unhon ne kaha, Rasul Allah SAW ne farmaya: ''Imam us jagah jahan us ne (Farz) Namaz parhi hai, (Nafl) Namaz na parhe hatta ke jagah badal le.'' Abu Dawood, aur unhon ne farmaya: Ata Khurasani ki Mughirah RA se mulaqat sabit nahin. Zaeef.
وَعَن عَطَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يُصَلِّي الْإِمَامُ فِي الْمَوْضِعِ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ حَتَّى يتَحَوَّل» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد وَقَالَ عَطاء الخرساني لم يدْرك الْمُغيرَة
