بيان جواز ومباح الأعمال في الصلاة
Mishkat al-Masabih 989
'Abdallah b. Mas'ud said:Before we went to Abyssinia we used to greet God’s Messenger when he was engaged in prayer and he would respond to us, but when we returned from Abyssinia I came to him and found him praying. I greeted him and he did not respond to me, but when he finished his prayer he said, “God creates new commands as He wishes, and one of them is that you must not talk during prayer.” He then returned my greeting and said, “Prayer is solely for the purpose of reciting the Qur’an and making mention of God, so when you are engaged in it let that be what occupies your attention.” Abu Dawud transmitted it.

عبداللہ بن مسعود ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ہجرت حبشہ سے پہلے ہم نبی ﷺ کو حالت نماز میں سلام کیا کرتے تھے ، اور آپ ہمیں سلام کا جواب دیا کرتے تھے ، جب ہم سر زمین حبشہ سے واپس (مکہ) آئے تو میں آپ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو آپ اس وقت نماز پڑھ رہے تھے ، میں نے آپ کو سلام کیا لیکن آپ نے مجھے سلام کا جواب نہ دیا ، حتیٰ کہ جب آپ ﷺ نماز مکمل کر چکے تو فرمایا :’’ اللہ جس طرح چاہتا ہے اپنا حکم ظاہر کرتا ہے ، اور اب جو نیا حکم آیا ہے وہ یہ ہے کہ تم نماز میں بات نہ کرو ۔‘‘ پھر آپ نے مجھے سلام کا جواب دیا ۔ اسنادہ حسن ، رواہ ابوداؤد ۔
Abdullah bin Masood bayan karte hain hijrat Habsha se pehle hum Nabi ko halat namaz mein salaam kya karte the, aur aap humain salaam ka jawab diya karte the, jab hum sar zameen Habsha se wapas (Makkah) aaye to main aap ki khidmat mein hazir hua to aap us waqt namaz parh rahe the, maine aap ko salaam kiya lekin aap ne mujhe salaam ka jawab na diya, hatta ke jab aap namaz mukammal kar chuke to farmaya: ''Allah jis tarah chahta hai apna hukm zahir karta hai, aur ab jo naya hukm aaya hai wo ye hai ke tum namaz mein baat na karo.'' Phir aap ne mujhe salaam ka jawab diya. Isnaadahu hasan, riwayat Abu Dawood.
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: كُنَّا نُسَلِّمُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ نَأْتِيَ أَرْضَ الْحَبَشَةِ فَيَرُدُّ عَلَيْنَا فَلَمَّا رَجَعْنَا مِنْ أَرْضِ الْحَبَشَةِ أَتَيْتُهُ فَوَجَدْتُهُ يُصَلِّي فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيَّ حَتَّى إِذَا قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ قَالَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحْدِثُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ مَا يَشَاءُ ن وَإِن مِمَّا أحدث أَن لَا تتكلموا فِي الصَّلَاة» . فَرد عَليّ السَّلَام
