Abu Sa'id Khudri reported that some persons amongst the Companions of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) set out on a journey and they happened to pass by a tribe from the tribes of Arabia. They demanded hospitality from the members of that tribe, but they did not extend any hospitality to them. They said to them:Is there any incantator amongst you, at the chief of the tribe has bgen stung by a scorpion? A person amongst us said: 'Yes. So he came to him and he practised incan- tation with the help of Sura al-Fatiha and the person became all right. He was given a flock of sheep (as recompense), but he refused to accept that, saying: I shall make a mention of it to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ), and if he approves of it. then I shall accept it. So we came to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) and made a mention of that to him and he (that person) said: Allah's Messenger by Allah, I did not practice incantation but with the help of Sura al-Fatiha of the Holy Book. He (the Holy Prophet) smiled and said: How did you come to know that it can be used (as incactation)? - and then said: Take out of that and allocate a share for me along with your share.
حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے کچھ ساتھی سفر پر تھے تو وہ عربی قبائل میں سے ایک قبیلہ سے گزرے اور ان سے مہمان نوازی چاہی تو انہوں نے ان کی مہمان نوازی نہ کی، (بعد میں) صحابہ سے پوچھنے لگے، کیا تم میں کوئی دم کرنے والا ہے؟ کیونکہ قبیلہ کا سردار، اسے بچھو نے ڈس لیا ہے، یا اس کی عقل میں خرابی پیدا ہو گئی ہے تو ان میں سے ایک نے کہا، ہاں، سو وہ ان کے سردار کے پاس گیا اور اسے فاتحہ الکتاب سے دم کیا، وہ آدمی تندرست ہو گیا اور بکریوں کا ایک ریوڑ دیا، سو اس نے ساتھیوں کی بات ماننے سے انکار کیا اور کہا، حتی کہ میں اس کا تذکرہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کروں، سو وہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور آپ سے اس واقعہ کا تذکرہ کیا اور کہا، اے اللہ کے رسولصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! اللہ کی قسم! میں نے تو صرف سورہ فاتحہ سے دم کیا، آپ مسکرا پڑے اور فرمایا: ”تمہیں کیسے پتہ چلا کہ یہ دم ہے؟“ پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ان سے لے لو اور اپنے ساتھ میرا بھی حصہ رکھو۔“
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (Razi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke kuch sathi safar par the to woh Arabi qabail mein se ek qabila se guzre aur un se mehman nawazi chahi to unhon ne un ki mehman nawazi na ki, (baad mein) Sahaba se poochne lage, kya tum mein koi dam karne wala hai? Kyunke qabila ka sardar, use bichhu ne das liya hai, ya uski aql mein kharabi paida ho gai hai to un mein se ek ne kaha, haan, so woh unke sardar ke paas gaya aur use Fatihatul Kitab se dam kiya, woh aadmi tandrust ho gaya aur bakriyon ka ek revad diya, so usne sathiyon ki baat man'ne se inkar kiya aur kaha, hatta ke main uska tazkirah Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se karun, so woh Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur Aap se is waqia ka tazkirah kiya aur kaha, aye Allah ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Allah ki qasam! main ne to sirf Surah Fatiha se dam kiya, Aap muskuraye aur farmaya: "Tumhen kaise pata chala ke yeh dam hai?" Phir Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "In se le lo aur apne sath mera bhi hissa rakho."
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّمِيمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ نَاسًا، مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانُوا فى سَفَرٍ فَمَرُّوا بِحَىٍّ مِنْ أَحْيَاءِ الْعَرَبِ فَاسْتَضَافُوهُمْ فَلَمْ يُضِيفُوهُمْ . فَقَالُوا لَهُمْ هَلْ فِيكُمْ رَاقٍ فَإِنَّ سَيِّدَ الْحَىِّ لَدِيغٌ أَوْ مُصَابٌ . فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْهُمْ نَعَمْ فَأَتَاهُ فَرَقَاهُ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ فَبَرَأَ الرَّجُلُ فَأُعْطِيَ قَطِيعًا مِنْ غَنَمٍ فَأَبَى أَنْ يَقْبَلَهَا . وَقَالَ حَتَّى أَذْكُرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ . فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهِ مَا رَقَيْتُ إِلاَّ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ . فَتَبَسَّمَ وَقَالَ " وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ أَنَّهَا رُقْيَةٌ " . ثُمَّ قَالَ " خُذُوا مِنْهُمْ وَاضْرِبُوا لِي بِسَهْمٍ مَعَكُمْ " .
