Wa'il bin Hujr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that he saw the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) raising his hands at the time of beginning the prayer and reciting takbir, and according to Hammam (the narrator), the hands were lifted opposite to ears. He (the Prophet ﷺ) then wrapped his hands in his cloth and placed his right hand over his left hand. And when he was about to bow down, he brought out his hands from the cloth, and then lifted them, and then recited takbir and bowed down and when (he came back to the erect position) he recited - َُّ ُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهسَمِعَ َّللا[Allah listened to him who praised Him.] And when he prostrated, he prostrated between his two palms.
حضرت وائل بن حجر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ اس نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز میں داخل ہوتے وقت اپنے دونوں ہاتھ بلند کیے تکبیر کہی (ہمام نے بیان کیا، کانوں کے برابر تک بلند کیے) پھر اپنا کپڑا اوڑھ لیا پھر اپنا دایاں ہاتھ بائیں ہاتھ پر رکھا تو جب رکوع کرنا چاہا، اپنے دونوں ہاتھ کپڑے سے نکالے پھر بلند کیے، پھر تکبیر کہی اور رکوع کیا، جب سَمِعَ اللُّٰہ لمَِنْ حَمِدَہ کہا، اپنے ہاتھ بلند کیے، اور جب سجدہ کیا، اپنی دونوں ہتھیلیوں کے درمیان سجدہ کیا۔
Hazrat Wa'il bin Hujr (Radiallahu Ta'ala Anhu) se riwayat hai ke us ne Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko dekha, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne namaz mein dakhil hote waqt apne donon hath buland kiye takbeer kahi (Hammam ne bayan kiya, kaanon ke barabar tak buland kiye) phir apna kapra aurh liya phir apna dayaan hath bayein hath par rakha toh jab ruku karna chaha, apne donon hath kapre se nikale phir buland kiye, phir takbeer kahi aur ruku kiya, jab Sami-allahu liman hamidah kaha, apne hath buland kiye, aur jab sajda kiya, apni donon hatheliyon ke darmiyan sajda kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جُحَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ وَائِلٍ، وَمَوْلًى، لَهُمْ أَنَّهُمَا حَدَّثَاهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حِينَ دَخَلَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ كَبَّرَ - وَصَفَ هَمَّامٌ حِيَالَ أُذُنَيْهِ - ثُمَّ الْتَحَفَ بِثَوْبِهِ ثُمَّ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى الْيُسْرَى فَلَمَّا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ أَخْرَجَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ الثَّوْبِ ثُمَّ رَفَعَهُمَا ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ فَرَكَعَ فَلَمَّا قَالَ " سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ " . رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ فَلَمَّا سَجَدَ سَجَدَ بَيْنَ كَفَّيْهِ .
