Chapter: The Tents Of Paradise, And The Wives That The Believers Will Have In Them

باب فِي صِفَةِ خِيَامِ الْجَنَّةِ وَمَا لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِيهَا مِنَ الأَهْلِينَ

Sahih Muslim 2838a

Abu Bakr bin Abdullah bin Qais reported on the authority of his father that Allah's Apostle (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) said, in Paradise there would be for a believer a tent of a single hollowed pearl the breadth of which would be sixty miles. It would be meant for a believer and the believers would go around it and none would be able to see the others.

حضرت عبد اللہ بن قیس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:"مؤمن کے لیےجنت میں ایک خیمہ ہو گا جو ایک خولدار موتی کا ہوگا جس کا طول ساٹھ میل ہو گا، اس میں ان کے اہل ہوں گےمومن ان کے پاس چکر لگائیں گے اور وہ ایک دوسرے کو دیکھ نہیں سکیں گے۔"

Hazrat Abdullah bin Qais (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) se riwayat hai Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Momin ke liye jannat mein ek khaima ho ga jo ek khol-dar moti ka hoga jis ka toul saath (60) meel ho ga, is mein un ke ahl honge momin un ke paas chakkar lagayein ge aur woh ek dusre ko dekh nahi sakein ge."

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قُدَامَةَ، - وَهُوَ الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ - عَنْ أَبِي، عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ لَخَيْمَةً مِنْ لُؤْلُؤَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ مُجَوَّفَةٍ طُولُهَا سِتُّونَ مِيلاً لِلْمُؤْمِنِ فِيهَا أَهْلُونَ يَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمُؤْمِنُ فَلاَ يَرَى بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Abu Bakr bin Abdullah bin Qais reported on the authority of his father that Allah's Apostle (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) said that in Paradise there would be a tent made of a single hollowed pearl, the breadth of which would be sixty miles from all sides and there would live a family in each corner and the other would not be able to see the believer who goes around them.

حضرت عبد اللہ بن قیس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:"جنت میں مومن کا خولدار موتی کا ایک خیمہ ہو گا جس کا عرض ساٹھ میل ہو گا ہر کونے میں اس کے اہل ہوں گے، جو دوسروں کو دیکھ نہیں سکیں گے، مومن ان کا چکر لگائے گا۔"

Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (Razi Allahu Anhu) bayan karte hain, Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne mera haath pakda aur farmaya: "Allah (Azza Wa Jall) ne mitti (khak, zameen) ko haftah ke din paida kiya aur is mein pahad, Itwar ke din paida kiye aur darakht Somwar ko paida kiye aur na pasandida cheezon ko Mangal ke din paida kiya aur noor (roshni) ko Budh ke din paida kiya, aur zameen mein chaupaye Jumairat ke din phailaye aur Adam (Alaihis Salam) ko tamam makhlooqat ke baad, Jum'ah ke din, Asr ke waqt Jum'ah ki ghadiyon mein se akhri ghadi mein Asr se sham tak paida kiya."

وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو غَسَّانَ الْمِسْمَعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَيْمَةٌ مِنْ لُؤْلُؤَةٍ مُجَوَّفَةٍ عَرْضُهَا سِتُّونَ مِيلاً فِي كُلِّ زَاوِيَةٍ مِنْهَا أَهْلٌ مَا يَرَوْنَ الآخَرِينَ يَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمُؤْمِنُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

This Hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Abu Bakr bin Abu Musa bin Qais who, on the authority of his father, reported the Apostle (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) to have said that there would be a tent made of a pearl whose height towards the sky would be sixty miles. In each corner, there would be a family of the believer, out of sight for the others.

حضرت ابو موسیٰ بن قیس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:"خیمہ ایک موتی کا ہو گاجس کی بلندی ساٹھ میل ہو گی اس کے ہر کونے میں مومن کے اہل ہوں گے، جن کو دوسرے دیکھ نہیں سکیں گے۔"

Hadhrat Sahal Bin Sa'd (Razi Allahu Anhu) bayan karte hain, Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: "Qayamat ke din log safed zameen par jo surkhi mail ho gi. Jaisa ke maide ki roti hoti hai jama kiye jayenge. Aur is zameen mein kisi shakhs ke liye koi nishan nahi ho ga, yani koi ghar, imarat aur nishan na ho ga, saaf chatteel maidan ho gi."

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ أَبِي، عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ الْخَيْمَةُ دُرَّةٌ طُولُهَا فِي السَّمَاءِ سِتُّونَ مِيلاً فِي كُلِّ زَاوِيَةٍ مِنْهَا أَهْلٌ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ لاَ يَرَاهُمُ الآخَرُونَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
