Nafi' bin Utba (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported, we were with Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) in an expedition that there came a people to Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) from the direction of the west. They were dressed in woolen clothes, and they stood near a hillock, and they met him as Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was sitting. I said to myself, better go to them and stand between him and them that they may not attack him. Then I thought that perhaps there had been going on secret negotiation amongst them. I, however, went to them and stood between them and him and I remember four of the words (on that occasion) which I repeat (on the fingers of my hand) that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, you will attack Arabia and Allah will enable you to conquer it, then you would attack Persia and He would make you to conquer it. Then you would attack Rome and Allah will enable you to conquer it, then you would attack the Dajjal, and Allah will enable you to conquer him. Nafi' said, Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه), we thought that the Dajjal would appear after Rome (Syrian territory) would be conquered.
حضرت نافع بن عتبہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں ہم ایک غزوہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھے، چنانچہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس مغرب کی طرف سے ایک قوم آئی جن کے کپڑے اونی تھے، انھوں نے آپ کو ایک ٹیلہ کے پاس پایا۔ چنانچہ وہ کھڑے ہوئے تھے اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بیٹھے ہوئے تھے میرے جی میں آیا، ان کے پاس جاکر ان کے اور آپ کے درمیان کھڑا ہو جاؤ وہ دھوکے سے آپ پر حملہ نہ کردیں پھر میں نے سوچا شاید آپ ان سے سر گوشی فر رہے ہوں، (راز کی بات کر رہے ہوں)چنانچہ میں ان کے پاس آکر ان کے اور آپ کے درمیان کھڑا ہو گیا سو میں نے آپ سے چار بول یاد کیے جنہیں میں انگلیوں پر گن رہا تھا آپ نے فرمایا:"تم جزیرۃ العرب میں جہاد کرو گے اور اللہ تمھیں اس پر فتح عنایت کرے گا پھر فارس سے جہاد کرو گے، سو اللہ اس پر فتح دے گا،پھر روم کا رخ کروگے تو اللہ اس پر فتح دے گا۔ دجال سے جنگ کر کے سو اللہ اس پر فتح عطا فرمائے گا۔"حضرت نافع رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے کہا، اے جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ! روم کی فتح سے پہلے ہمارے خیال میں دجال نہیں نکلے گا۔
Hazrat Nafi bin Utba (Radiallahu Anhu) bayan karte hain hum ek ghazwa mein Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke sath the, chunache Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke paas maghrib ki taraf se ek qaum aayi jin ke kapde ooni the, unhon ne aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko ek teele ke paas paya. Chunache woh khade hue the aur Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) baithe hue the mere jee mein aaya, un ke paas ja kar un ke aur aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke darmiyan khada ho jao woh dhoke se aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) par hamla na kar den phir main ne socha shayad aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) un se sargoshi farma rahe hon, (raaz ki baat kar rahe hon) chunache main un ke paas aa kar un ke aur aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke darmiyan khada ho gaya so main ne aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se char bol yaad kiye jinhen main ungliyon par gin raha tha aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya:"Tum Jazeeratul Arab mein jihad karo ge aur Allah Ta'ala tumhein is par fath inayat karega phir Fars se jihad karo ge, so Allah Ta'ala is par fath dega, phir Rum ka rukh karo ge to Allah Ta'ala is par fath dega. Dajjal se jang kar ke so Allah Ta'ala is par fath ata farmayega." Hazrat Nafi (Radiallahu Anhu) ne kaha, Aye Jabir (Radiallahu Anhu)! Rum ki fath se pehle hamare khayal mein Dajjal nahi niklega.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي غَزْوَةٍ - قَالَ - فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَوْمٌ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْمَغْرِبِ عَلَيْهِمْ ثِيَابُ الصُّوفِ فَوَافَقُوهُ عِنْدَ أَكَمَةٍ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَقِيَامٌ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَاعِدٌ - قَالَ - فَقَالَتْ لِي نَفْسِي ائْتِهِمْ فَقُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَهُ لاَ يَغْتَالُونَهُ - قَالَ - ثُمَّ قُلْتُ لَعَلَّهُ نَجِيٌّ مَعَهُمْ . فَأَتَيْتُهُمْ فَقُمْتُ بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَهُ - قَالَ - فَحَفِظْتُ مِنْهُ أَرْبَعَ كَلِمَاتٍ أَعُدُّهُنَّ فِي يَدِي قَالَ " تَغْزُونَ جَزِيرَةَ الْعَرَبِ فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ فَارِسَ فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ تَغْزُونَ الرُّومَ فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ تَغْزُونَ الدَّجَّالَ فَيَفْتَحُهُ اللَّهُ " . قَالَ فَقَالَ نَافِعٌ يَا جَابِرُ لاَ نَرَى الدَّجَّالَ يَخْرُجُ حَتَّى تُفْتَحَ الرُّومُ .
