باب الْكَشْفِ عَنْ مَعَايِبِ، رُوَاةِ الْحَدِيثِ وَنَقَلَةِ الأَخْبَارِ وَقَوْلِ الأَئِمَّةِ فِي ذَلِكَ
Sahih Muslim Introduction 49
Qutaybah bin Sa’īd narrated to us, Jarīr narrated to us, on authority of Hamzah az-Zayyāt, he said:‘Murrah al-Hamdānī heard something from al-Hārith and said to him: ‘sit by the door’. [Hamzah] said: ‘So Murrah went inside and took his sword and al-Hārith sensed evil and left’.
حمزہ زیاتؒ کہتے ہیں: مرہ ہمدانیؒ نے حارث سے کوئی بات سنی، تو اسے کہا: ”دروازے پر بیٹھو (میں ابھی اندر ہو کر آتا ہوں)“ چنانچہ وہ اپنے گھر میں داخل ہوئے اور اپنی تلوار اٹھا لی (تاکہ حارث کی گردن اڑا دیں)، حارث نے برائی کو بھانپ لیا، (سمجھ گیا کہ وہ اچھے ارادے سےاندر نہیں گئے) تو بھاگ گیا۔
Hamza Zayyat (Rahmatullahi Alaih) kehte hain: Murrah Hamdani (Rahmatullahi Alaih) ne Haris se koi baat suni, to ise kaha: "Darwaze par baitho (main abhi andar ho kar aata hoon)" Chunanche woh apne ghar mein dakhil hue aur apni talwar utha li (taake Haris ki gardan ura dein), Haris ne burayi ko bhaanp liya, (samajh gaya ke woh achhe irade se andar nahi gaye) to bhag gaya.
وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ حَمْزَةَ الزَّيَّاتِ، قَالَ سَمِعَ مُرَّةُ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، مِنَ الْحَارِثِ شَيْئًا فَقَالَ لَهُ اقْعُدْ بِالْبَابِ . قَالَ فَدَخَلَ مُرَّةُ وَأَخَذَ سَيْفَهُ - قَالَ - وَأَحَسَّ الْحَارِثُ بِالشَّرِّ فَذَهَبَ .
