باب الْكَشْفِ عَنْ مَعَايِبِ، رُوَاةِ الْحَدِيثِ وَنَقَلَةِ الأَخْبَارِ وَقَوْلِ الأَئِمَّةِ فِي ذَلِكَ
Sahih Muslim Introduction 55
Hasan al-Hulwānī narrated to us, Abū Yahyā al-Himmānī narrated to us, Qabīsah and his brother [Sufyān bin Uqbah] narrated to us, that they heard al-Jarrāh bin Malīh saying, I heard Jābir say:‘I have 70,000 Ḥadīth all of which are on authority of Abū Ja’far on authority of the Prophet, peace and blessings upon him’.
جراح بن ملیحؒ کہتے ہیں: میں نے جابر کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا: ”مجھے ابو جعفرؒ (امام محمد باقر) سے ستر ہزار احادیث یاد ہیں۔ وہ سب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے بیان کرتے ہیں۔“
Jarrah bin Malih (Rahmatullahi Alaih) kehte hain: Main ne Jabir ko yeh kehte hue sna: "Mujhe Abu Jafar (Rahmatullahi Alaih) (Imam Muhammad Baqir) se sattar hazar ahadith yaad hain. Woh sab Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) se bayan karte hain."
وَحَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، وَأَخُوهُ، أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا الْجَرَّاحَ بْنَ مَلِيحٍ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا، يَقُولُ عِنْدِي سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ حَدِيثٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كُلُّهَا .
