بَاب بَيَانِ أَنَّ الدُّخُولَ فِي الصَّوْمِ يَحْصُلُ بِطُلُوعِ الْفَجْرِ وَأَنَّ لَهُ الْأَكْلَ وَغَيْرَهُ حَتَّى يَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ وَبَيَانِ صِفَةِ الْفَجْرِ الَّذِي تَتَعَلَّقُ بِهِ الْأَحْكَامُ مِنْ الدُّخُولِ فِي الصَّوْمِ وَدُخُولِ وَقْتِ صَلَاةِ ال
Sahih Muslim 1093b
This Hadith has been narrated by Sulaiman al-Taimi with the same chain of transmitters (but with a slight variation of words) that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘the dawn is not like it as it is said; he then gathered his fingers and lowered them. But he said, it is like this (and he placed the index finger upon the other one and spread his hand).’
مصنف اپنے مالک اور استاد سے سلیمان تیمی ہی کی سند سے اس فرق کے ساتھ روایت بیان کرتے ہیں۔ کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”فجر وہ نہیں ہے جو ایسی ہو(آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنی انگلیوں کو مجتمع کر کے بعد میں زمین کی طرف جھکا دیا) لیکن فجر وہ ہے جو اس طرح ہو“ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انگشت شہادت کو دوسری شہادت پر رکھا اور دونوں ہاتھ پھیلا دئیے دائیں بائیں کھول دیے۔
Musannif apne malik aur ustad se Sulaiman Taimi hi ki sanad se is farq ke sath riwayat bayan karte hain. Ke Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Fajr woh nahi hai jo aisi ho (Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne apni unglion ko mujtame kar ke baad mein zameen ki taraf jhuka diya) lekin fajr woh hai jo is tarah ho" Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne angusht-e-shahadat ko doosri shahadat par rakha aur donon hath phail diye dayein bayein khol diye.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ، - يَعْنِي الأَحْمَرَ - عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ " إِنَّ الْفَجْرَ لَيْسَ الَّذِي يَقُولُ هَكَذَا " . وَجَمَعَ أَصَابِعَهُ ثُمَّ نَكَسَهَا إِلَى الأَرْضِ " وَلَكِنِ الَّذِي يَقُولُ هَكَذَا " . وَوَضَعَ الْمُسَبِّحَةَ عَلَى الْمُسَبِّحَةِ وَمَدَّ يَدَيْهِ .
