Sahih Muslim 1094a
Samura bin Jandub (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘the call of Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) may not mislead any one of you to refrain from taking meal before the commencement of the fast (for the streaks) of this whiteness (which are vertical indicate the false dawn and the true dawn with which the fast commences is that when the streaks of light are) spread.
حضرت سمرہ بن جندب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے سنا: ”تم میں سے کسی کو بلال کی ندا سحری سے دھوکا میں مبتلا نہ کرے اور نہ یہ سفید ی حتی کہ چوڑائی میں پھیل جائے۔“
Hazrat Samura bin Jundub (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) bayan karte hain ke main ne Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko yeh farmatay suna: "Tum mein se kisi ko Bilal ki nida sahari se dhoka mein mubtala na kare aur na yeh safedi hatta ke chaurayi mein phail jaye."
