Chapter: It is permissible to circumambulate the Ka'bah on a camel and the like, And for one who is riding to touch the (black) stone with a crooked staff and the like.

Sahih Muslim 1273a
Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) circumambulated the House on the back of his riding camel on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage and touched the Stone with his stick so that the people should see him and he should be conspicuous, and they should be able to ask him (questions pertaining to religion) as the people had crowded round him.
حضرت جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حجۃ الوداع میں بیت اللہ کا طواف اپنی سواری پر کیا، حجر اسود کو اپنی چھڑی لگاتے تھے، تا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بلند ہو سکیں اور لوگ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھ کر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سوال کر سکیں، کیونکہ لوگوں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو گھیرا ہوا تھا۔
Hazrat Jabir (Radiallahu Anhu) bayan karte hain, ki Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne Hajjatul Wada' mein Baitullah ka tawaf apni sawari par kiya, Hajr-e-Aswad ko apni chhadi lagate the, taaki Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) buland ho saken aur log Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko dekh kar Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se sawal kar saken, kyuki logon ne Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko ghera hua tha.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ أَبِي، الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ طَافَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِالْبَيْتِ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ يَسْتَلِمُ الْحَجَرَ بِمِحْجَنِهِ لأَنْ يَرَاهُ النَّاسُ وَلِيُشْرِفَ وَلِيَسْأَلُوهُ فَإِنَّ النَّاسَ غَشُوهُ.
