Sahih Muslim 1280e
Kuraib reported that he asked Usama bin Zaid (رضي الله تعالى عنه), what did you do in the evening of 'Arafa as you rode behind Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)? He said, we came to a valley where people generally halted their (camels) for the sunset prayer. Allah's Apostle ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) halted his camel and urinated (and he did not say that he had poured water). He then called for water and performed light ablution. I said, Apostle of Allah (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم), the prayer. He said, prayer awaits you (at Muzdalifa). He rode on until we came to Muzdalifa. Then he offered the sunset prayer, and the people halted their camels at their places, and did not untie them until Iqama was pronounced for the 'Isha' prayer and he observed the prayer, and then they untied (their camels). I said, what did you do in the morning? He said, Al-Fadl bin Al-Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) sat behind the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) in the morning, whereas I proceeded on foot with the Quraish who had gone ahead.
کریب کہتے ہیں، میں نے حضرت اسامہ بن زید رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے پوچھا، جب آپ عرفہ کی شام رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے سوار ہوئے تھے، تو آپ نے کیا کیا تھا؟ انہوں نے جواب دیا، ہم اس گھاٹی پر پہنچے، جہاں لوگ مغرب کے لیے اونٹوں کو بٹھاتے ہیں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنی اونٹنی بٹھا کر پیشاب کیا، (اسامہ نے پانی بہایا نہیں کہا) پھر پانی منگوایا، اور خفیف وضو کیا، (تین دفعہ نہیں کیا) تو میں نے پوچھا، اے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ! نماز پڑھنی ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”نماز آ گے ہے۔“ پھر سوار ہو کر مزدلفہ پہنچ گئے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مغرب کی نماز پڑھائی، پھر لوگوں نے اپنی جگہوں میں اونٹ بٹھائے، پالان نہیں کھولے، حتی کہ اقامت کہلوا کر نماز عشاء پڑھی، پھر لوگوں نے پالان کھولے، میں نے پوچھا، صبح کے وقت آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کیسے کیا؟ انہوں نے کہا، فضل بن عباس رضی الہ تعالیٰ عنہ آپ کے ساتھ سوار ہو گئے، اور میں نے اس کے پہلے جانے والوں کے ساتھ پیدل چل پڑا۔
Kuraib kehte hain, mein ne Hazrat Usama bin Zaid (Radiallahu Anhu) se poocha, jab aap Arafah ki shaam Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke piche sawar hue the, to aap ne kya kiya tha? Unho ne jawab diya, hum is ghaati par pahunche, jahan log Maghrib ke liye oonton ko bithate hain, Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne apni oontni bitha kar peshab kiya, (Usama ne pani bahaya nahi kaha) phir pani mangwaya, aur khafif wazu kiya, (teen dafa nahi kiya) to mein ne poocha, Ae Allah ke Rasool (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Namaz padhni hai? Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Namaz aage hai." Phir sawar ho kar Muzdalifa pahunch gaye, Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne Maghrib ki namaz padhai, phir logon ne apni jagahon mein oont bithaye, palan nahi khole, hatta ki iqamat kahlwa kar namaz Isha padhi, phir logon ne palan khole, mein ne poocha, subah ke waqt Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne kaise kiya? Unho ne kaha, Fazal bin Abbas (Radiallahu Anhu) aap ke saath sawar ho gaye, aur mein ne us ke pehle jaane walon ke saath paidal chal pada.
وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، أَخْبَرَنِي كُرَيْبٌ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ كَيْفَ صَنَعْتُمْ حِينَ رَدِفْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَشِيَّةَ عَرَفَةَ فَقَالَ جِئْنَا الشِّعْبَ الَّذِي يُنِيخُ النَّاسُ فِيهِ لِلْمَغْرِبِ فَأَنَاخَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَاقَتَهُ وَبَالَ - وَمَا قَالَ أَهَرَاقَ الْمَاءَ - ثُمَّ دَعَا بِالْوَضُوءِ فَتَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءًا لَيْسَ بِالْبَالِغِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ الصَّلاَةَ . فَقَالَ " الصَّلاَةُ أَمَامَكَ " . فَرَكِبَ حَتَّى جِئْنَا الْمُزْدَلِفَةَ فَأَقَامَ الْمَغْرِبَ ثُمَّ أَنَاخَ النَّاسُ فِي مَنَازِلِهِمْ وَلَمْ يَحُلُّوا حَتَّى أَقَامَ الْعِشَاءَ الآخِرَةَ فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ حَلُّوا قُلْتُ فَكَيْفَ فَعَلْتُمْ حِينَ أَصْبَحْتُمْ قَالَ رَدِفَهُ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ وَانْطَلَقْتُ أَنَا فِي سُبَّاقِ قُرَيْشٍ عَلَى رِجْلَىَّ .
