Chapter: Clarifying the Waswasah (Whispers, Bad Thoughts) with regard to faith, and what the one who experiences that should say

باب بَيَانِ الْوَسْوَسَةِ فِي الإِيمَانِ وَمَا يَقُولُهُ مَنْ وَجَدَهَا
Sahih Muslim 134d
This Hadith is transmitted by Urwa bin Zubair on the authority of Abu Huraira ( رضي الله تعالى عنه) (and the words are) : The Satan comes to the Servants of Allah and says : Who created this and that? The remaining part of the Hadith is the same.
حضرت ابو ہریرہؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”بندہ کے پاس شیطان آتا ہے اور کہتا ہے: فلاں فلاں چیز کو کس نے پیدا کیا؟“ آگے مذکورہ بالا روایت جیسے الفاظ ہیں۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: "Banda ke paas Shaitan aata hai aur kehta hai: falan falan cheez ko kis ne paida kiya?" Aage mazkoora bala riwayat jaise alfaz hain.
حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ اللَّيْثِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ جَدِّي، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " يَأْتِي الْعَبْدَ الشَّيْطَانُ فَيَقُولُ مَنْ خَلَقَ كَذَا وَكَذَا " مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ .
