Anas said:I also saw the wedding feast of Zainab, and he (the Holy Prophet) served bread and meat to the people, and made them eat to their heart's content, and he (the Holy Prophet) sent me to call people, and as he was free (from the ceremony) he stood up and I followed him. Two persons were left and they were busy in talking and did not get out (of the apartment). He (the Holy Prophet) then proceeded towards (the apartments of) his wives. He greeted with as-Salamu 'alaikum to every one of them and said: Members of the household, how are you? They said: Messenger of Allah, we are in good state 'How do you find your family? He would say: In good state. When he was free from (this work of exchanging greetings) he came back, and I also came back along with him. And as he reached the door, (he found) that the two men were still busy in talking. And when they saw him having returned, they stood up and went out; and by Allah! I do not know whether I had informed him, or there was a revelation to him (to the affect) that they had gone. He (the Holy Prophet) then came back and I also returned along with him, and as he put his step on the threshold of his door he hung a curtain between me and him, and (it was on this occasion) that Allah revealed this verse: (" O you who believe), do not enter the houses of the Prophet unless permission is given to 'you" (xxxiii. 53).
انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: میں نے زینب کے ولیمہ کو بھی دیکھا، اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے لوگوں کو روٹی اور گوشت پیش کیا اور انہیں خوب سیر ہو کر کھلایا، اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے مجھے لوگوں کو بلانے کے لئے بھیجا۔ جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم تقریب سے فارغ ہوئے تو کھڑے ہوئے اور میں بھی آپ کے ساتھ ہو لیا۔ دو آدمی باقی رہ گئے تھے اور وہ باتوں میں مشغول تھے اور حجرہ سے باہر نہ نکلے۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اپنی ازواج مطہرات کے حجروں کی طرف تشریف لے گئے۔ آپ ہر ایک کو السلام علیکم کہتے اور فرماتے: اے اہل خانہ، تمہارا کیا حال ہے؟ وہ عرض کرتیں: یا رسول اللہ، ہم بخیر ہیں۔ آپ فرماتے: تم اپنے گھر والوں کو کیسا پاتے ہو؟ آپ فرماتے: سب بخیر ہیں۔ جب آپ اس سلام و کلام سے فارغ ہوئے تو واپس آئے اور میں بھی آپ کے ساتھ واپس آیا۔ جب آپ دروازے پر پہنچے تو دیکھا کہ وہ دونوں آدمی اب بھی باتوں میں مشغول ہیں۔ جب انہوں نے آپ کو واپس آتے دیکھا تو کھڑے ہو کر باہر چلے گئے۔ اللہ کی قسم، مجھے معلوم نہیں کہ میں نے آپ کو اس کی خبر دی تھی یا آپ پر وحی نازل ہوئی تھی کہ وہ چلے گئے ہیں۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم واپس آئے اور میں بھی آپ کے ساتھ آیا۔ جب آپ نے اپنے دروازے کی چوکھٹ پر قدم رکھا تو میرے اور اپنے درمیان پردہ لٹکا دیا، اور اسی موقع پر اللہ تعالی نے یہ آیت نازل فرمائی: "اے ایمان والو، نبی کے گھروں میں داخل نہ ہو جب تک تمہیں اجازت نہ دی جائے"۔
Anas (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne kaha: Maine Zaynab ke walima ko bhi dekha, aur aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne logo ko roti aur gosht pesh kiya aur unhein khoob sair ho kar khilaaya, aur aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne mujhe logo ko bulaane ke liye bheja. Jab aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) taqreeb se farigh hue to khade hue aur main bhi aap ke saath ho liya. Do aadmi baaqi reh gaye the aur woh baato mein mashghool the aur hujre se baahar na nikle. Phir aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) apni Azwaj-e-Mutahharaat ke hujro ki taraf tashreef le gaye. Aap har ek ko Assalamu Alaikum kehte aur farmate: Ae Ahle Khana, tumhara kya haal hai? Woh arz kartin: Ya Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), hum ba-khair hain. Aap farmate: Tum apne ghar walo ko kaisa paate ho? Aap farmate: Sab ba-khair hain. Jab aap is salam-o-kalaam se farigh hue to wapas aaye aur main bhi aap ke saath wapas aaya. Jab aap darwaaze par pahunche to dekha ki woh dono aadmi ab bhi baato mein mashghool hain. Jab unho ne aap ko wapas aate dekha to khade ho kar baahar chale gaye. Allah ki qasam, mujhe ma'loom nahin ki maine aap ko iski khabar di thi ya aap par wahi nazil hui thi ki woh chale gaye hain. Phir aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) wapas aaye aur main bhi aap ke saath aaya. Jab aap ne apne darwaaze ki chaukhat par qadam rakha to mere aur apne darmiyan parda latka diya, aur isi mauqe par Allah Ta'ala ne yeh aayat nazil farmayi: "Ae Iman walo, Nabi ke gharo mein daakhil na ho jab tak tumhein ijazat na di jaye".
قَالَ أَنَسٌ وَشَهِدْتُ وَلِيمَةَ زَيْنَبَ فَأَشْبَعَ النَّاسَ خُبْزًا وَلَحْمًا وَكَانَ يَبْعَثُنِي فَأَدْعُو النَّاسَ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ قَامَ وَتَبِعْتُهُ فَتَخَلَّفَ رَجُلاَنِ اسْتَأْنَسَ بِهِمَا الْحَدِيثُ لَمْ يَخْرُجَا فَجَعَلَ يَمُرُّ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ فَيُسَلِّمُ عَلَى كُلِّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُنَّ " سَلاَمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ كَيْفَ أَنْتُمْ يَا أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ " . فَيَقُولُونَ بِخَيْرٍ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ وَجَدْتَ أَهْلَكَ فَيَقُولُ " بِخَيْرٍ " . فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ رَجَعَ وَرَجَعْتُ مَعَهُ فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ الْبَابَ إِذَا هُوَ بِالرَّجُلَيْنِ قَدِ اسْتَأْنَسَ بِهِمَا الْحَدِيثُ فَلَمَّا رَأَيَاهُ قَدْ رَجَعَ قَامَا فَخَرَجَا فَوَاللَّهِ مَا أَدْرِي أَنَا أَخْبَرْتُهُ أَمْ أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ الْوَحْىُ بِأَنَّهُمَا قَدْ خَرَجَا فَرَجَعَ وَرَجَعْتُ مَعَهُ فَلَمَّا وَضَعَ رِجْلَهُ فِي أُسْكُفَّةِ الْبَابِ أَرْخَى الْحِجَابَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ وَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى هَذِهِ الآيَةَ { لاَ تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتَ النَّبِيِّ إِلاَّ أَنْ يُؤْذَنَ لَكُمْ} الآيَةَ .
