Chapter: One who frees his share in a slave

باب مَنْ أَعْتَقَ شِرْكًا لَهُ فِي عَبْدٍ
Sahih Muslim 1503d
This Hadith has been narrated on the authority of Shu'ba with the same chain of transmitters (and the words are), ‘he who emancipates a portion in a slave, he should (secure full) freedom for him from his property.’
امام صاحب ہی روایت ایک دوسرے استاد سے مذکورہ بالا شعبہ کی سند سے بیان کرتے ہیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس نے مملوک میں سے اپنا حصہ آزاد کر دیا، تو وہ اس کے مال سے آزاد ہو گا۔“
Imam Sahab hi riwayat ek doosre ustad se mazkoorah bala Shu'bah ki sanad se bayan karte hain, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Jis ne mamlook mein se apna hissa azad kar diya, to woh us ke mal se azad hoga."
وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ قَالَ " مَنْ أَعْتَقَ شَقِيصًا مِنْ مَمْلُوكٍ فَهُوَ حُرٌّ مِنْ مَالِهِ " .
