Sahih Muslim 152
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) observed : There has never been a Prophet among the prophets who was not bestowed with a sign among the signs which were bestowed (on the earlier prophets). Human beings believed in it. Verily I have been conferred upon revelation (the Qur'an) which Allah (جَلَّ ذُو) revealed to me. I hope that I will have the greatest following on the Day of Resurrection.
حضرت ابو ہریرہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس قدر بھی انبیا ء گزرے ہیں، ان میں سے ہر ایک نبی کو اس قدر معجزات ملے کہ ان کو دیکھ کر لوگ یمان لا سکتے تھے، اور جو معجزہ مجھے ملا وہ وحی ہے، جو اللہ تعالیٰ نے میری طرف کی ہے، اس لیے مجھے امید ہے قیامت کے دن سب سے زیادہ پیرو کار میرے ہوں گے۔“
Hazrat Abu Huraira (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: "Jis qadar bhi ambiya guzre hain, un mein se har ek nabi ko is qadar mujizaat mile ke un ko dekh kar log imaan la sakte thay, aur jo mujiza mujhe mila woh wahi hai, jo Allah Ta'ala ne meri taraf ki hai, is liye mujhe umeed hai qiyamat ke din sab se zyada peero-kar mere honge."
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَا مِنَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلاَّ قَدْ أُعْطِيَ مِنَ الآيَاتِ مَا مِثْلُهُ آمَنَ عَلَيْهِ الْبَشَرُ وَإِنَّمَا كَانَ الَّذِي أُوتِيتُ وَحْيًا أَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَىَّ فَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَ أَكْثَرَهُمْ تَابِعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
