Chapter: The prohibition of selling fresh dates in exchange for dry dates except in the case of 'Araya

باب تَحْرِيمِ بَيْعِ الرُّطَبِ بِالتَّمْرِ إِلاَّ فِي الْعَرَايَا
Sahih Muslim 1539f
Yahya bin Sa'id reported this Hadith with the same chain of transmitters but with this change. 'Ariyya implies that date-palm trees should be donated to the people and then they sell it with a measure of dry dates.
یحییٰ بن سعید اسی سند سے بیان کرتے ہیں، ہاں اس میں یہ ہے کہ عریہ وہ کھجور ہے، جو کسی قوم کو دی جاتی ہے تو وہ اسے اندازہ کر کے خشک کھجوروں کے عوض بیچ دیتے ہیں۔
Yahya bin Saeed isi sanad se bayan karte hain, haan is mein yeh hai ke Ariya woh khajoor hai, jo kisi qaum ko di jati hai to woh use andaza kar ke khushk khajuron ke iwaz bech dete hain.
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَالْعَرِيَّةُ النَّخْلَةُ تُجْعَلُ لِلْقَوْمِ فَيَبِيعُونَهَا بِخَرْصِهَا تَمْرًا .
