Chapter: The prohibition of the price of a dog, the fee of a fortuneteller and the payment of a prostitute, and the prohibition of selling cats

باب تَحْرِيمِ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ وَحُلْوَانِ الْكَاهِنِ وَمَهْرِ الْبَغِيِّ وَالنَّهْىِ عَنْ بَيْعِ السِّنّ
Sahih Muslim 1568b
Rafi bin Khadij (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, the price of a dog is evil, the earning of a prostitute is evil and the earning of a cupper is evil.
حضرت رافع بن خدیج رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”کتے کی قیمت خبیث (پلید) ہے، زانیہ کی اجرت خبیث ہے اور سینگی لگانے والے کی کمائی خبیث ہے۔“
Hazrat Rafe Bin Khadeej (Razi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) se riwayat hai ki Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: “Kutte ki qeemat khabees (paleed) hai, zaaniya ki ujrat khabees hai aur seengi lagane wale ki kamayi khabees hai.”
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ قَارِظٍ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنِي رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " ثَمَنُ الْكَلْبِ خَبِيثٌ وَمَهْرُ الْبَغِيِّ خَبِيثٌ وَكَسْبُ الْحَجَّامِ خَبِيثٌ " .
