Chapter: The beginning of the revelation to the messenger of Allah (saws)

باب بَدْءِ الْوَحْىِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
Sahih Muslim 161c
This hadith, the like of one narrated by Yunus has also been transmitted by Ma'mar on the authority of al-Zuhri who narrated:Allah the Most Glorious and Exalted revealed this:" You who are shrouded, arise and deliver warning, your Lord magnify, your clothes cleanse and defilement shun," before making the prayer obligatory. I felt terror-stricken as narrated by Uqail.
امام صاحبؒ ایک اور سند سے مذکورہ بالا روایت نقل کرتے ہیں آخر میں ہے تو اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ نے اتارا: ”اے کپڑے میں لپٹنے والے“ سے لے کر”بتوں سے دور رہیے۔“ (مدثر: 1-5) یہ نماز کی فرضیت سے پہلے کا واقعہ ہے۔ رجز سے مراد: بت ہیں اور عقیلؒ کی طرح کہا: "فَجُثِثْتُ مِنْهُ" ”میں اس سے گھبرا گیا۔“
Imam Sahab (Rahmatullah Alaih) ek aur sanad se mazkoora bala riwayat naqal karte hain akhir mein hai to Allah Tabarak-o-Ta'ala ne utara: "Ae kapde mein lipatne wale" se le kar "buton se door rahiye." (Mudassir: 1-5). Yeh namaz ki farziyat se pehle ka waqia hai. Rijz se murad but hain aur Aqeel ki tarah kaha: "Fajusistu minhu" "Main is se ghabra gaya."
وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ يُونُسَ وَقَالَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى { يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُدَّثِّرُ} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ { وَالرُّجْزَ فَاهْجُرْ} قَبْلَ أَنْ تُفْرَضَ الصَّلاَةُ - وَهِيَ الأَوْثَانُ - وَقَالَ " فَجُثِثْتُ مِنْهُ " . كَمَا قَالَ عُقَيْلٌ
