Chapter: It is recommended to pray for victory when meeting the enemy

باب اسْتِحْبَابِ الدُّعَاءِ بِالنَّصْرِ عِنْدَ لِقَاءِ الْعَدُوِّ ‏‏

Sahih Muslim 1742d

This Hadith has been narrated on the authority of Ibn 'Uyaina (رضي الله تعالى عنه) through another chain of transmitters (who added the words), ‘the Disperser of clouds’ in his narration.

امام صاحب دو اور اساتذہ سے مذکورہ بالا حدیث بیان کرتے ہیں اور ابن ابی عمر ؓ کی روایت میں اس لفظ کا اضافہ ہے، اے بادلوں کو چلانے والے۔"

Imam Sahab do aur ustadon se mazkurah bala hadith bayan karte hain aur Ibn Abi Amr (Radi Allahu Anhu) ki riwayat mein is lafz ka izafa hai 'Ay baadlon ko chalane wale.'

وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، جَمِيعًا عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَزَادَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ فِي رِوَايَتِهِ ‏ "‏ مُجْرِيَ السَّحَابِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
