Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) sent an expedition to Najd, and I (also) went with the troops. We got camels and goats as spoils of war, and our share amounted to twelve camels per head, and the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) gave an extra camel to each of us.
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالی عنہما بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک دستہ نجد کی طرف بھیجا، میں بھی اس کے ساتھ نکلا اور ہمیں بہت سے اونٹ اور بکریاں غنیمت میں حاصل ہوئیں، اس لیے ہمارا عمومی حصہ بارہ بارہ اونٹ بنے اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں بطور انعام ایک ایک اونٹ دیا۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar (Radi Allahu Anhuma) bayan karte hain ke Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne ek dasta Najd ki taraf bheja, main bhi us ke sath nikla aur humein bohat se oont aur bakriyan ghanimat mein hasil huein. Is liye hamara umumi hissa barah barah oont bane aur Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne humein batour inaam ek ek oont diya.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَرِيَّةً إِلَى نَجْدٍ فَخَرَجْتُ فِيهَا فَأَصَبْنَا إِبِلاً وَغَنَمًا فَبَلَغَتْ سُهْمَانُنَا اثْنَىْ عَشَرَ بَعِيرًا وَنَفَّلَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَعِيرًا بَعِيرًا .
