Sahih Muslim 1954d
Sa'id bin Jubair reported that a near one of Abdullah bin Mughaffal (رضئ ِہللا تعالی عنہ) threw pebbles. He prohibited him (to do so). He said that Allah's Apostle (ِصلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) had prohibited the throwing of pebbles by saying, it does not catch the game, nor does it inflict defeat on the enemy, but breaks the tooth and puts the eye out. He (the near one of Abdullah bin Mughadal) again repeated it (the act of throwing of pebbles) whereupon he said, I narrate to you that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) disliked and prohibited throwing of pebbles, but I see you again throwing pebbles; I (would therefore) not speak with you.
سعید بن جبیر سے روایت ہے، حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ کے ایک رشتہ دار نے کنکر پھینکا، تو انہوں نے اسے منع کیا اور کہا، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے خذف سے منع کرتے ہوئے فرمایا: ”نہ یہ کسی قسم کا شکار کرتا ہے اور نہ دشمن کو شکست دیتا ہے لیکن یہ دانت توڑ دیتا ہے اور آنکھ پھوڑ دیتا ہے“ اس نے دوبارہ یہ حرکت کی تو کہا، میں نے تمہیں بتایا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس سے منع فرمایا ہے، پھر تم خذف کر رہے ہو، میں تم سے کبھی کلام نہیں کروں گا۔
Sa'id bin Jubair se riwayat hai, Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal (Raziallahu Anhu) ke ek rishtedar ne kankar phenka, to unhon ne use mana kiya aur kaha, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne khazaf se mana karte hue farmaya: "Na yeh kisi qism ka shikar karta hai aur na dushman ko shikast deta hai lekin yeh daant tod deta hai aur aankh phod deta hai" Us ne dobara yeh harkat ki to kaha, main ne tumhein bataya ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne is se mana farmaya hai, phir tum khazaf kar rahe ho, main tum se kabhi kalam nahin karoon ga.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ، بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ أَنَّ قَرِيبًا، لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ خَذَفَ - قَالَ - فَنَهَاهُ وَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنِ الْخَذْفِ وَقَالَ " إِنَّهَا لاَ تَصِيدُ صَيْدًا وَلاَ تَنْكَأُ عَدُوًّا وَلَكِنَّهَا تَكْسِرُ السِّنَّ وَتَفْقَأُ الْعَيْنَ " . قَالَ فَعَادَ . فَقَالَ أُحَدِّثُكَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْهُ ثُمَّ تَخْذِفُ لاَ أُكَلِّمُكَ أَبَدًا .
