Chapter: The Prohibition Of Using Vessels Of Gold And Silver For Men And Women, And Gold Rings And Silk For Men, But They Are Permissible For Women. Permissibility Of Silken Borders On Garments For Men, But It Should Not Be More Than Four Fingers Wide

باب تَحْرِيمِ اسْتِعْمَالِ إِنَاءِ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ عَلَى الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ وَخَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ وَالْحَرِيرِ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ وَإِبَاحَتِهِ لِلنِّسَاءِ وَإِبَاحَةِ الْعَلَمِ وَنَحْوِهِ لِلرَّجُلِ مَا لَمْ يَزِدْ عَلَى أَرْبَعِ أَصَابِعَ
Sahih Muslim 2066c
This Hadith has been narrated on the authority of Ash'ath bin Abu ash-Sha'tha' with the same chain of transmitters (and with these words), there is no doubt about the words, to fulfil the vows were mentioned and this addition had been made in the Hadith: The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) forbade drinking in silver vessels, for one who drinks (in them) in this world would not drink (in them) in the Hereafter.
امام صاحب اپنے دو اور اساتذہ کی سند سے زہیر کی طرح حدیث بیان کرتے ہیں اور اس میں بغیر شک کے قسم پوری کرنے کا ذکر کرتے ہیں اور حدیث میں یہ اضافہ کرتے ہیں، ”چاندی کے برتن میں پانی پینے سے، کیونکہ جو اس میں دنیا میں پیے گا، آخرت میں نہیں پی سکے گا۔“
Imam Sahib apne do aur asatiza ki sanad se Zuhair ki tarah hadith bayan karte hain aur us mein bagair shak ke qasam poori karne ka zikr karte hain aur hadith mein yeh izafa karte hain, "Chandi ke bartan mein pani peene se, kyunki jo us mein dunya mein piye ga, akhirat mein nahin pi sake ga."
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي، شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ . مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ زُهَيْرٍ وَقَالَ إِبْرَارِ الْقَسَمِ مِنْ غَيْرِ شَكٍّ وَزَادَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ وَعَنِ الشُّرْبِ فِي الْفِضَّةِ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ شَرِبَ فِيهَا فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَشْرَبْ فِيهَا فِي الآخِرَةِ .
