باب الأَمْرِ بِقِتَالِ النَّاسِ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ويقيموا الصلاة ويؤتوا الزكاة ويؤمنوا بجميع ما جاء به النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وأن من فعل ذلك عصم نفسه وماله إلا بحقها ووكلت سريرته إلى الله تعالى وقتال

Sahih Muslim 21a
It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said : I have been commanded to fight against people so long as they do not declare that there is no god but Allah, and he who professed it was guaranteed the protection of his property and life on my behalf except for the right affairs rest with Allah.
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”مجھے حکم ہے کہ میں لوگوں سے اس وقت تک جنگ جاری رکھوں یہاں تک کہ وہ "لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ" کی شہادت دیں، جس نے "لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ" کہہ لیا، اس کے میری طرف سے مال و جان محفوظ ہو گئے، إلا یہ کہ اس کا (کلمہ) حق ہو اور اس کا مواخذہ اللہ تعالیٰ کرے گا۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (Radhi Allahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: "Mujhe hukum hai ke main logon se is waqt tak jung jari rakhoon yahan tak ke woh "LA ILAHA ILLALLAH" ki shahadat dein, jis ne "LA ILAHA ILLALLAH" keh liya, is ke meri taraf se maal-o-jaan mahfooz ho gaye, illa yeh ke is ka (kalima) haq ho aur is ka muakhiza Allah Ta'ala kare ga.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، وَحَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ أَحْمَدُ حَدَّثَنَا وَقَالَ الآخَرَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ فَمَنْ قَالَ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ عَصَمَ مِنِّي مَالَهُ وَنَفْسَهُ إِلاَّ بِحَقِّهِ وَحِسَابُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ " .
