Chapter: The Evidence that groups of Muslims will enter Paradise without being called to account, and without being punished

باب الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى دُخُولِ طَوَائِفَ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ الْجَنَّةَ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ وَلاَ عَذَابٍ
Sahih Muslim 220b
Ibn Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported : The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said: People would be presented to me (on the Day of Resurrection), and then the remaining part of the Hadith was narrated like the one (above) transmitted by Hushaim, but he made no mention of the first portion.
حضرت ابن عباس ؓ سے روایت ہے، کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”مجھ پر تمام امتیں پیش کی گئیں۔“ پھر حدیث کا باقی حصہ ہشیم کی طرح بیان کیا، اور حدیث کا ابتدائی حصہ (حصین کا واقعہ) بیان نہیں کیا۔
Hazrat Ibn-e-Abbas (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Mujh par tamam ummaten pesh ki gayin." Phir hadith ka baqi hissa Hushaim ki tarah bayan kiya, aur hadith ka ibtidayi hissa (Husain (Rehmatullah Alaih) ka waqiya) bayan nahin kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " عُرِضَتْ عَلَىَّ الأُمَمُ " . ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بَاقِيَ الْحَدِيثِ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ هُشَيْمٍ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ أَوَّلَ حَدِيثِهِ .
