Sahih Muslim 2246c
Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated, he heard Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) as saying, ‘Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said, ‘the son of Adam (عليه السالم) causes Me displeasure when he says, woe be upon the time. None of you should say woe be upon the Time, as I am the Time (because) I alternate the day and the night, and when I wish I can finish them up.
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بتایا: ”اللہ عزوجل فرماتا ہے، ابن آدم مجھے اذیت پہنچاتا ہے، یوں کہتا ہے، ہائے زمانے کی ناکامی و نامرادی، اس لیے تم میں سے کوئی نہ کہے، اے زمانے کی ناکامی! کیونکہ زمانے کا انتظام کرنے والا میں ہوں، اس کے رات اور دن کو گردش دیتا ہوں اور جب چاہوں گا دونوں کو قبض کر لوں گا۔“
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Razi Allahu Anhu) bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne bataya: "Allah (Azzawajal) farmata hai, Ibn Adam mujhe aziyat pahunchata hai, yoon kehta hai, haye zamane ki nakami o namuradi, isliye tum mein se koi na kahe, aye zamane ki nakami! kyunke zamane ka intizam karne wala main hoon, uske raat aur din ko gardish deta hoon aur jab chahunga donon ko qabz kar lunga."
وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ، الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُؤْذِينِي ابْنُ آدَمَ يَقُولُ يَا خَيْبَةَ الدَّهْرِ . فَلاَ يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ يَا خَيْبَةَ الدَّهْرِ . فَإِنِّي أَنَا الدَّهْرُ أُقَلِّبُ لَيْلَهُ وَنَهَارَهُ فَإِذَا شِئْتُ قَبَضْتُهُمَا " .
