Chapter: The Prohibition Of Striking The Face

باب النَّهْىِ عَنْ ضَرْبِ الْوَجْهِ، ‏‏

Sahih Muslim 2612b

This Hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Abu Zinad and he said, when one amongst you strikes (at the face).’

امام صاحب یہی روایت ایک اور استاد سے بیان کرتے ہیں۔اس میں "قَاتَلَ" کی جگہ"ضَرَب" کا لفظ ہے۔

Imam Sahab yahi riwayat ek aur ustad se bayan karte hain. Is mein "qatalu" ki jagah "daraba" ka lafz hai.

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَقَالَ ‏ "‏ إِذَا ضَرَبَ أَحَدُكُمْ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
