Sahih Muslim 2723c
Abdullah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported that when it was evening Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to supplicate, we have reached the evening and the dominion belongs to Allah, and praise is to Allah, there is no God but Allah alone with no partner or associate. O Allah, I ask You for the good of this night and the good of what is in it, and I seek refuge with You from the evil of this night and the evil of what is in it. O Allah, I seek refuge with You from laziness, old age and the evil of arrogance, and the trials of this world and the torment of the grave.’ Al-Hasan bin Ubaidullah said, Zubaid bin Ibrahim bin Suwaid added, from 'Abdur-Rahmân bin Yazid, from Abdullâh (رضئ الله تعالی عنہ) who attributed it to the Prophet (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم), ‘there is no God but Allah alone with no partner or associate. His is the dominion, to Him is praise and He has power over all things.’
حضرت عبد اللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ جب شام ہوتی تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اللہ تعالیٰ کے حضور میں عرض کرتے۔" یہ شام اس حال میں ہو رہی ہے کہ ہم اور ساری کائنات اللہ ہی کے ہیں اور حمدو شکر اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے۔ اس ایک کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں ہے اس کا کوئی شریک ساجھی نہیں ہے۔ اے اللہ!میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں اس رات میں جو کچھ ہونے والا اس کی خیر کا اور اس رات کی خیر کا اور میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں، اس رات میں جو کچھ ہونے والا ہے۔ اس کے شر سے، اے اللہ!میں تیری پناہ میں آتا ہوں،کاہلی سے انتہائی بڑھاپے سے اور بڑی عمر کے برے اثرات سے اور دنیا کے ہر فتنہ سے اور قبر کے عذاب سے۔" حسن بن عبید اللہ بیان کرتے ہیں۔زبید نے ابراہیم سے اس روایت میں یہ اضافہ مجھے سنایا کہ آپ نے فرمایا: "اللہ کے سوا جو یکتا ہے، کوئی بندگی کے لائق نہیں، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، وہی اقتدارو بادشاہی کا مالک ہے، وہ حمدو ستائش کے سزا وار ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔
Hazrat Abdullah (Raziyallahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ki jab shaam hoti toh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Allah Ta'ala ke huzoor mein arz karte. "Yeh shaam is haal mein ho rahi hai ki hum aur saari kainat Allah hi ke hain aur hamd wa shukr Allah hi ke liye hai. Is ek ke siwa koi Ma'bood nahin hai us ka koi shareek saajhi nahin hai. Aye Allah! Main tujh se sawal karta hoon is raat mein jo kuch hone wala hai us ki khair ka aur is raat ki khair ka aur main teri panah mangta hoon, is raat mein jo kuch hone wala hai. Us ke shar se, Aye Allah! Main teri panah mein aata hoon, kahali se intehai budhape se aur badi umar ke bure asraat se aur duniya ke har fitna se aur qabr ke azab se." Hasan bin Ubaidullah bayan karte hain. Zubayd ne Ibrahim se is riwayat mein yeh izafa mujhe sunaya ki Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Allah ke siwa jo yakta hai, koi bandagi ke laiq nahin, us ka koi shareek nahin, wahi iqtadar wa badshahi ka malik hai, woh hamd wa sitaish ke saza war hai aur woh har cheez par qadir hai."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ، عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا أَمْسَى قَالَ " أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ وَخَيْرِ مَا فِيهَا وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ مَا فِيهَا اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَسُوءِ الْكِبَرِ وَفِتْنَةِ الدُّنْيَا وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ " . قَالَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ وَزَادَنِي فِيهِ زُبَيْدٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَفَعَهُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ " لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ " .
