Chapter: The Acceptance Of The Repentance Of The One Who Kills, Even If He Has Killed A Great Deal

باب قَبُولِ تَوْبَةِ الْقَاتِلِ وَإِنْ كَثُرَ قَتْلُهُ
Sahih Muslim 2766c
This Hadith has been narrated on the authority of Qatada with the same chain of transmitters but (with this variation of wording), Allah commanded the earth (from where) he wanted to come out to move itself away and to the other earth (where he wanted to go) to draw nearer.’
امام صاحب ایک اور استاد سے مذکورہ بالا حدیث بیان کرتے ہیں اس میں یہ اضافہ ہے۔"سو اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس بستی کو حکم دیا دور ہو جاؤ اور اس کو حکم دیا، قریب ہو جا۔" یعنی نیکیوں کی بستی اللہ کے حکم سے قریب ہو گئی اور بروں کی بستی کی مسافت دور ہو گئی اسی طرح وہ نیک لوگوں کی بستی کا باشندہ بن گیا۔
Imam Sahib ek aur ustad se mazkurah bala hadith bayan karte hain is mein yeh izafa hai. "So Allah Ta'ala ne us basti ko hukm diya dur ho jao aur us ko hukm diya, qareeb ho ja." Ya'ni nekiyon ki basti Allah ke hukm se qareeb ho gayi aur buron ki basti ki musafat dur ho gayi isi tarah woh nek logon ki basti ka bashindah ban gaya.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ مُعَاذِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ وَزَادَ فِيهِ " فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَى هَذِهِ أَنْ تَبَاعَدِي وَإِلَى هَذِهِ أَنْ تَقَرَّبِي " .
