Chapter: The Deceased Is Shown His Place In Paradise Or The Fire; And Confirmation Of The Torment In The Grave - We Seek Refuge With Allah From That

بَاب عَرْضِ مَقْعَدِ الْمَيِّتِ مِنْ الْجَنَّةِ أَوْ النَّارِ عَلَيْهِ وَإِثْبَاتِ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَالتَّعَوُّذِ مِنْهُ
Sahih Muslim 2870b
Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالی عنہ) reported that Allah's Apostle (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) said, when the dead body is placed in the grave, he listens to the sound of the shoes (as his friends and relatives return after burying him).
حضرت انس بن مالک رحمۃ اللہ علیہ بیان کرتے ہیں،رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:"میت کو جب قبر میں رکھ دیا جاتا ہے تو وہ واپس جانے والوں کی واپسی کے وقت ان کی جوتیوں کی آہٹ سنتا ہے۔
Hadhrat Anas Bin Malik (Rahmatullah Alaih) bayan karte hain, Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: "Mayyat ko jab qabar mein rakh diya jata hai to woh wapas jane walou ki wapsi ke waqt un ki jootiyon ki ahat sunta hai."
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ الضَّرِيرُ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ الْمَيِّتَ إِذَا وُضِعَ فِي قَبْرِهِ إِنَّهُ لَيَسْمَعُ خَفْقَ نِعَالِهِمْ إِذَا انْصَرَفُوا " .
