Sahih Muslim 2891a
Hudhaifa bin al-Yaman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported, by Allah, I have the best knowledge amongst people about every turmoil which is going to appear in the period intervening me and the Last Hour; and it is not for the fact that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) told me something confidentially pertaining to it and he did not tell anybody else about it, but it is because of the fact that I was present in the assembly in which he had been describing the turmoil and he especially made a mention of three turmoil’s, which would not spare anything and amongst these there would be turmoil’s like storms in the hot season. Some of them would be violent and some of them would be comparatively mild. Hudhaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, all (who were present) except I have gone (to the next world).
حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں اللہ کی قسم میں سب لوگوں سے زیادہ ہر اس فتنہ سے آگاہ ہوں، جو میرے اور قیامت کے درمیان واقع ہونے والا ہے اور یہ حالت صرف اس بنا پر ہے میری رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس سلسلہ میں کچھ راز کی باتیں صرف مجھے بتائیں میرے سوا کسی اور کو وہ باتیں نہیں بتائیں لیکن کچھ باتیں ایسی ہیں کہ اپ نے ایک مجلس میں فتنوں کے بارے میں فرمائیں اور میں بھی اس مجلس میں موجود تھا چنانچہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فتنوں کا شمار کرتے ہوئے فرمایا:"ان میں سے تین فتنے ایسے ہیں جو تقریباً کسی چیز کو نہیں چھوڑیں گے اور ان سے کچھ فتنے گرمیوں کی آندھیوں کی طرح ہیں(جو انتہائی تکلیف دہ ہوں گے جس طرح گرمی کی آندھی جھلس کر رکھ دیتی ہے) ان میں سے کچھ چھوٹے ہوں گے اور کچھ بڑے۔"حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کہتے ہیں میرے سو اس مجلس کے تمام حاضرین فوت ہو چکے ہیں۔
Hazrat Huzaifa (Radiallahu Anhu) farmate hain, Allah ki qasam, main sab logon se zyada har us fitna se agah hoon, jo mere aur qayamat ke darmiyan waqe hone wala hai aur yeh halat sirf is bina par hai meri Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne is silsila mein kuch raaz ki baatein sirf mujhe bataien mere siwa kisi aur ko woh baatein nahi bataien lekin kuch baatein aisi hain ke aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne ek majlis mein fitnon ke bare mein farmaien aur main bhi us majlis mein maujood tha chunache Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne fitnon ka shumar karte hue farmaya:"In mein se teen fitne aise hain jo taqreeban kisi cheez ko nahi chhodenge aur in se kuch fitne garmiyon ki aandhiyon ki tarah hain (jo intehai takleef deh honge jis tarah garmi ki aandhi jhulas kar rakh deti hai) in mein se kuch chhote honge aur kuch bade."Hazrat Huzaifa (Radiallahu Anhu) kehte hain mere siwa is majlis ke tamam hazireen faut ho chuke hain.
حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى التُّجِيبِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلاَنِيَّ، كَانَ يَقُولُ قَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ بْنُ الْيَمَانِ وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لأَعْلَمُ النَّاسِ بِكُلِّ فِتْنَةٍ هِيَ كَائِنَةٌ فِيمَا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ السَّاعَةِ وَمَا بِي إِلاَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَسَرَّ إِلَىَّ فِي ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا لَمْ يُحَدِّثْهُ غَيْرِي وَلَكِنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ وَهُوَ يُحَدِّثُ مَجْلِسًا أَنَا فِيهِ عَنِ الْفِتَنِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ يَعُدُّ الْفِتَنَ " مِنْهُنَّ ثَلاَثٌ لاَ يَكَدْنَ يَذَرْنَ شَيْئًا وَمِنْهُنَّ فِتَنٌ كَرِيَاحِ الصَّيْفِ مِنْهَا صِغَارٌ وَمِنْهَا كِبَارٌ " . قَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ فَذَهَبَ أُولَئِكَ الرَّهْطُ كُلُّهُمْ غَيْرِي .
