Chapter: The Signs Which Will Appear Before The Hour

باب فِي الآيَاتِ الَّتِي تَكُونُ قَبْلَ السَّاعَةِ

Abu Sariha reported:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was in an (upper) apartment and we were standing lower to him and discussing (about the Last Hour). The rest of the hadith is the same, and Shu'ba said: I think he also said these words: The fire would descend along with them where they would land and where they would take rest (during midday (it would also cool down for a while). Shu'ba said: This hadith has been transmitted to me through Abu Tufail and Abu Sariha and none could trace it back directly to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ). However, there is a mention of the descent of Jesus Christ son of Mary in one version and in the other there is a mention of the blowing of a violent gale which would drive them to the ocean.
حضرت ابو سریحہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک بالا خانہ میں تھے اور ہم اس کے نیچے باہمی بات چیت کر رہے تھے آگے مذکورہ بالا حدیث ہے۔ شعبہ کہتے ہیں۔ میرا خیال ہے۔ آگ ان کے ساتھ پڑاؤ کرے گی۔ جب وہ پڑاؤ کریں گے اور ان کے ساتھ قیلولہ کرے گی جہاں وہ قیلولہ کریں گے۔ شعبہ کہتے ہیں یہ حدیث مجھے ایک اور آدمی نے بھی سنائی، لیکن اس نے اس کو مرفوع بیان نہیں کیا اور ان دونوں آدمیوں میں سے ایک نے عیسیٰ بن مریم کے نزول کا تذکرہ کیا اور دوسرے نے کہا،ہوا ہو گی جو لوگوں کو سمندر میں ڈال دے گی۔
Hazrat Abu Sariha (Radiallahu Anhu) bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ek bala khana mein the aur hum us ke neeche bahami baat cheet kar rahe the aage mazkura bala hadith hai. Shu'bah kehte hain. Mera khayal hai. Aag un ke sath padhao karegi. Jab woh padhao karenge aur un ke sath qailoola karegi jahan woh qailoola karenge. Shu'bah kehte hain yeh hadith mujhe ek aur aadmi ne bhi sunayi, lekin us ne is ko marfoo bayan nahi kiya aur un donon aadmiyon mein se ek ne Isa bin Maryam (Alaihis Salam) ke nuzool ka tazkira kiya aur dusre ne kaha, hawa hogi jo logon ko samundar mein dal degi.
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ - حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ فُرَاتٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الطُّفَيْلِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي سَرِيحَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي غُرْفَةٍ وَنَحْنُ تَحْتَهَا نَتَحَدَّثُ . وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ بِمِثْلِهِ . قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ تَنْزِلُ مَعَهُمْ إِذَا نَزَلُوا وَتَقِيلُ مَعَهُمْ حَيْثُ قَالُوا . قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَحَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ عَنْ أَبِي سَرِيحَةَ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ قَالَ أَحَدُ هَذَيْنِ الرَّجُلَيْنِ نُزُولُ عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ وَقَالَ الآخَرُ رِيحٌ تُلْقِيهِمْ فِي الْبَحْرِ .
