Chapter: Following The Imam

باب ائْتِمَامِ الْمَأْمُومِ بِالإِمَامِ
Sahih Muslim 411c
Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) fell down from a horse and his right side was grazed and the rest of the hadith is the same with the addition of these words: "When he (the Imam) prays standing, you should also do so."
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم گھوڑے سے گر پڑے تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا دایاں پہلو چھل گیا، آگے مذکورہ بالا روایت ہے اور اس میں اتنا اضافہ ہے، جب امام کھڑا ہو کر نماز پڑھائے تو تم بھی کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھو۔
Hazrat Anas bin Malik (Radiallahu Ta'ala Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ghode se gir pare toh Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ka dayaan pehlu chhal gaya, aage mazkoora bala riwayat hai aur is mein itna izafa hai, jab Imam khada ho kar namaz parhaye toh tum bhi khade ho kar namaz parho.
حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صُرِعَ عَنْ فَرَسٍ فَجُحِشَ شِقُّهُ الأَيْمَنُ بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِهِمَا وَزَادَ " فَإِذَا صَلَّى قَائِمًا فَصَلُّوا قِيَامًا " .
