Chapter: Clarification of those characteristics which, if a person attains them, he will find the sweetness of faith

باب بَيَانِ خِصَالٍ مَنِ اتَّصَفَ بِهِنَّ وَجَدَ حَلاَوَةَ الإِيمَانِ
Sahih Muslim 43c
A similar Hadith has been reported on the authority of Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه), with another chain of transmitters with the exception of these words : that he again becomes a Jew or a Christian.
حضرت انس ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا۔ اوپر والی حدیث ہی ہے، صرف اتنا فرق ہے کہ آپؐ نے فرمایا: ”یہودی اور عیسائی ہو جانے سے آگ میں ڈالا جا نا زیادہ پسند ہے۔“
Hazrat Anas (Radhi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya. Upar wali hadith hi hai, sirf itna farq hai ke Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: "Yahoodi aur Isayi ho jane se aag mein dala ja na zyada pasand hai."
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِهِمْ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ " مِنْ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ يَهُودِيًّا أَوْ نَصْرَانِيًّا " .
