Sahih Muslim 47a
It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that the Apostle of Allah (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) observed : He who believes in Allah (جَلَّ ذُو) and the Last Day should either utter good words or better keep silence; and he who believes in Allah ( َّعَز َّوَجَل) and the Last Day should treat his neighbor with kindness, and he who believes in Allah (جَلَّ ذُو) and the Last Day should show hospitality to his guest.
ابو سلمہ بن عبدالرحمٰنؒ نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ ؓ سے، وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ آپؐ نے فرمایا: ”جو انسان اللہ اور قیامت پر ایمان و یقین رکھتا ہے، وہ اچھی بات کرے یا پھر خاموش رہے اور جو شخص اللہ اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتا ہے، وہ اپنے پڑوسی کا احترام کرے، اور جو آدمی اللہ اور آخری دن پر یقین رکھتا ہے، وہ اپنے مہمان کی عزت کرے۔“
Abu Salama bin Abdur Rahman (Rahmatullahi Alaih) ne Hazrat Abu Huraira (Radhi Allahu Anhu) se, woh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) se bayan karte hain ke Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: "Jo insan Allah aur qayamat par iman-o-yaqeen rakhta hai, woh achhi baat kare ya phir khamosh rahe aur jo shakhs Allah aur aakhirat ke din par iman rakhta hai, woh apne parosi ka ihtiram kare, aur jo aadmi Allah aur aakhri din par yaqeen rakhta hai, woh apne mehman ki izzat kare."
حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ جَارَهُ وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ ضَيْفَهُ " .
